This is IUFB targets James Monds and Zane Durant. This was conversation on Dasan’s commitment post. -
(2022) DB Dasan McCullough to INDIANA

Well his older brother just announced he’s transferring to IU so I’m sure that’s made an impact. Seeing that both his brothers will be there as well as their dad and the kind of program IU’s turning into he probably didn’t want to be the odd man out. -

This is from today and there’s a lot of other talk picking up now that both of his brothers are committed to IU. There are also IU crystal ball picks that are flipping too. -

There’s a lot on Twitter this morning that he’s going to be Ohio States first decommit in the 2022 class. -

It starting to sound like he’s getting ready to flip his commitment. -
Is IU hiring Tony Bergeron? So that's a no. It will be interesting to see what happens with Mitchell but that's a strange situation.
-
It ain't happening
-
I just mentioned those as hypothetical situations. You never know when a coach could move on to a job that could impact your recruiting going forward.
-
He doesn't recruit Kentucky. Indiana is not Kentucky. You can't compare the two. How many major programs go to Kentucky to land recruits? Not many. How many come to Indiana? A ton. It's not overblown. Winning would help fix the problem but it wouldn't be a good look for someone that's trying to fix Indiana basketball. This is a dumb argument though because Brooks won't be at IU and it's all pointless.
-
The fact that he stopped landing recruits played a major role in the losing part of things. It didn't cause all of his problems though.
-
KEION BROOKS JR an INDIANA UNIVERSITY LEGEND that never played at INDIANA!
-
Leal not as much as Galloway but it's still a kid that has grown up in a winning culture. That's something that IU needs more of. You have to have talent but also guys that know how to fill a role and what it takes to win.
-
It did indeed.
-
That's accurate plus Brooks is a much better athlete and actually has better shooting form than Hunter. Brooks will actually put pressure on the defense were as Hunter has never really done that.

It should but there's a reason he sat a lot for Cathedral as sophomore too. He has to find more of a motor or else that won't matter. -
Sorry but you don't make one of the top coaches in the state mad. Say he moves to another job in a couple years at say LN or Bloomington South for example. That would be a problem and is always possible. You don't burn bridges especially in Indiana. It would impact more than just getting guys from Culver but if you've never coached high school or AAU in the state you wouldn't understand that.
-
I like guys that have a track record of winning to fill out the roster. Then beyond that if they develop and contribute as juniors and seniors then great. If not then they can be guys that play spot minutes and won't kill you. That's what you need at the end of the bench. Also Baylor won the national championship and had their last 2-3 scholarship players on their roster that had lower recruiting rankings/grades than Galloway and Leal. So yes you can win with them being your last two scholarships.
-
I think UK is also going after the transfer from Vandy who is a 4 and would 100% start.
-
I completely agree. Hunter is who I could see leaving more than anyone. Doubt he'd like a minutes reduction and I don't know were his minutes would come from with Kopp, Brooks, and Geronimo all needing minutes. Not to mention Race will get some time at the 4. I just don't see it plus he's awful on defense and doesn't do much except be a streaky shooter.

Coach Dane Fife

You also don't run off a kid who's dad is one of the top high school coaches in the state when it's your first year on the job. I get that Woody isn't just recruiting Indiana but you don't want to burn those bridges already. He's very Sheehey like and I'll take that off the bench any day.
