I know of at least one current IU player who said Trey to IU is a done deal. Now, he could be speculating, but he could also know something. We shall see.

In response to my question tonight 2021 F Trey Kaufman said he is making contingency plans if the high school season is canceled.  Nothing is set, and it is only backup planning, but could involve mid year college enrollment/redshirt.  Interesting times.

He went 11-12 from the ft line today. Also a reminder he is young for his grade. I’m more impressed with him the more I see him play. If he ever adds a 3 pt shot to his game Watch out

Out of Curiosity why did this not get moved to the main board?  
 
Our boy had his way with furst. Held Furst to single digits. Had 29 points and apparently easily at least 10 boards. 
 
Hopefully Trey liked what he’s getting from the Center position and wants to keep it going. 

That damn 6 ft rule and plexiglass boards are gonna ruin Uof6's recruiting strategy ;)

I’d prefer to hope that Duncomb continues to develop and is the best freshman big in the Big Ten as he learns for a year under TJD.. That’s the kind of talent we need to stack to compete for the Big Ten and on a national level.

Trey could drive on Furst whenever he wanted too. Not a good look for Furst today. But he’s still great. Duncomb rose to and above the challenge. Awesome for him.

Rob was there too. Between those 5 and Duncomb over half of Treys potential teammates were at that game today. 
 
With Duncomb doing whatever he wanted to furst. 

Good for Big Tom.  He has worked his butt off to get in the position he is in.  Out of all of the people we have put in the NBA that were Crean guys they have mostly done a good job of sticking.  Not easy at all.  Troy I think had the talent to, but sometimes you are a product of your environment.

I built this sofa table not too long ago. It has three outlet sets each with dual USB ports and an epoxy resin top. 
 
I also upgraded my battle station at home with this monitor stand made of Douglas fir and wrapped in oak. 

I took my beers out for a photo shoot this evening.
I made these beer caddies entirely of cedar and stained.

Blake Wesley just told me that his list cut is still coming in a couple weeks.  A bit of breaking news, he expects to commit somewhere in September.

Summer update.
No specific date mentioned in the story only sometime later this month:  A rarity in the shoe circuit era, the state’s top Nike (Indy Heat) and Adidas (Indiana Elite) programs are going to square off.  That will give Duncomb a chance to face a future rival in Purdue bound big man Caleb Furst, along with a roster full of players headed to the high major ranks of college basketball.
That would definitely be a game to watch.  Hopefully it will be streamed.
