hsrtxp reacted to Class of '66 Old Fart in (2021) C Logan Duncomb to IU, to Winthrop
Season opening win for Moeller 81-65 over Walnut Hills after Moeller led 44-39 at the half. Duncomb played 27 minutes scoring 21 pts. on 8-17 FG; 0-1on 3's; 5-8 FT; 9 Reb (6 Off); 2 Assts; 2 Stls; 1 TO.
We've taken a look at his teammate '22 SG Evan Mahaffey and his stat line in 24 minutes was: 13 pts. on 4-4 FG; 1-1 on 3's; 4-5 FT; 4 Reb; 5 Assts; 0 Stls; 1TO.
NOTE: Final score may not be precise as the stat site froze with 13 seconds remaining in the game but Duncomb and Mahaffey were already on the bench so their stats should be accurate.

Does anyone have any favorite recipes? While this isn’t a crazy recipe, it’s always a fan favorite at get togethers with friends and family:
- Black & Blue Burger
Instead of on top like most restaurants, mix in the blue cheese and bacon bits with Chicago Steak seasoning. It is an amazing burger! Mixing it in blends really well with the meat for a juice burger.

Totally agree with what you’re saying and understand the history of IU football and Wisky football and their games against one another....
But to play devils advocate I want to offer an opposing viewpoint not necessarily contradictory to your post but the narrative in general. This is an Indiana team that has steamrolled every opponent they’ve faced sans Ohio State (understandable, the only team to give them a run for their money in the last two years being Clemson) and Penn State (1st game of the season and actually dominated them the entire first half and choked the lead). The Hoosiers are 5-1 and have looked head and shoulders above every team. The Badgers are what, 2-1 with wins coming against Illinois and Michigan and a loss against Northwestern. NU got drubbed essentially by a Michigan State team that Indiana DEMOLISHED. Nothing this season has shown me that Indiana should be underdogs. This is a game I expect to win and think it says a lot about the disrespect the Hoosiers are getting. Replace the name “Indiana” with “Michigan” and the Wolverines are 7.5 point favorites against Wisconsin and a top 5 team in the country. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me being a little pissed off about the Penix injury and the national disrespect, but Indiana is a damn good football team that should beat Wisky next week and hopefully go 8-1 because the only team that has been capable of beating the Hoosiers has been Ohio State: a team that was up 16-0 in their last non-con game, the last non-con game any big ten team has played, against f****** Clemson.

With the result today, IU finished with a 5-1 record against the Big Ten East division. I never thought that was possible, even in a crazy COVID year. Congrats to CTA, players, and program.
OUT-FREAKING-STANDING!!!

Tuttle looked pretty steady considering the circumstances he entered the game under. Let's give him a week with the first unit and see what he can do if Penix is unavailable. Changing the game plan a little going forward might work to our advantage. Now Wisconsin has to plan for something that they have very little film on. The season goes on regardless. I'm actually more concerned about the COVID issue than Penix. I thought I heard the announcers say we had 14 players out for today's game.

I don't believe it was a hit that sidelined Penix. It looked like something in the knee when he planted his foot out of bounds. Why is it necessary to "told you so" in this instance?! I believe everyone on this board knew Penix was susceptible to injury as he's been injured every year since being at IU. Let's hope for the best for Penix and the team.

Good win after a sleepy first half. We need to play a better game next week against Wiscy.

If the Big Ten does change the rule to allow Ohio State play in the title game should they finish with less than 6 games, that's robbery. I certainly understand the reasoning of not letting an undefeated team stay out of the title game, but that is something they should have thought of in advance. I'd venture to say that if IU had been in the opposite spot, they wouldn't consider changing the rule.

I do like the commentators giving us some love for being outside the top 10 in the CFP initial release. However, they've been around long enough to know the Big Ten isn't going to leave O$U out of the championship game. O$U will play with 30 players next week and beat MSU.

Now is the time to put the hammer down if ever during this game. A safety and Hoosier TD would really take all the momentum!

6 schools currently prioritizing Taylor.

Indiana: “I have stayed in consistent contact with [assistant] Coach [Kenya] Hunter and Coach [Archie] Miller, and their pitch is how they want my 2022 class to be the class that kind of turns their program back to the powerhouse it was. They talk about how they need guys who can shoot and score the ball, and how I can come in and do that automatically.”

Amazing Grace with a triple-double: 17 pts; 10 reb; 10 asst. This is the first triple-double in IU women's basketball history.
Holmes now 13-13 FG. The school record for FG percentage, minimum 10 attempts, is .923 (12-of-13) by Sue Hodges and Quacy Barnes.
