And if Georgia is at 12, they are out anyway because the big 12 champ bumps them. but there is one thing it does: it prevents A&M from stealing a spot. If A&M beats Texas and then plays a Georgia team that lost to tech, if A&M wins the spot they steal is Georgia’s.
