My opinion would be no unless we lost or just edged out a win. They have three losses but more importantly IMO, they didn't play any of the top 3 in the SEC. I don't know the argument for putting them over Ole Miss -- OM beat them 27-3 in a game that was 24-3 at half. I think South Carolina not only needed to beat Clemson, but it had to be a dominant one and even then still probably needed help. I get two win teams in the SEC getting in over IU, but a three loss team that doesn't have a win over any team in the CFP I simply don't see.

I don't mind him doing that, he was going for the win and SC was reeling on defense. The throw was there as well, receiver just tipped it away.

Only thing stopping it would be Texas A&M beating Texas and then Georgia. Or, you know, CFP shenagins.

They still could if Penn State loses to Maryland and IU loses to Purdue. So, no, they can't.

Ohio State/Michigan doesn't effect us at all IMO. The win over Michigan is now one against a 7-5 team that beat Ohio State. The South Carolina result IMO helps us. Less likely that South Carolina would steal a spot than Clemson would -- considering that South Carolina was at 15 and has three losses (including a 24 point loss to Ole Miss and none of their three losses were to the three teams that are in from the SEC.

South Carolina IMO. Clemson is in 59% with a win, South Carolina 39%. And personally I don't know how you could move South Carolina up far since they lost to the two teams -- Alabama and Ole Miss -- ranked immediately ahead of them. I think South Carolina needed a dominant win to be considered.
