Hwy 1 got a reaction from Hutch89 in The Unofficial Game Streaming List
Often times in a game thread someone will ask for a game link. If the government throws you in jail for using these it's not my fault. If the morality police chastise you it's not my fault. You've been warned.  Here's some I've found on the internet over the years. These sites tend to change urls from time to time so sometime down the road the link might not work anymore. They also tend to end up using the same stream but one site might work better than another. Also you might have to look around for a site that carries the game you wish to watch. You'll find much more than basketball on these sites too.

If using these sites I have a few recommendations. First, use either Firefox or Chrome on a pc. You mac guys are on your own, I'm not familiar with it. Next, install adblock plus before using these sites. DO NOT install one of their players they are loaded with malware, use the flash links. The flash streams are safe if you don't click on the ads. I hope I don't have to tell anyone to have an Anti-virus installed and firewall on.  If the game won't play without their player find another site or listen to the Fish.   Don't click on the ads. With adblock plus installed you'll see an x  pop up to close the ads. Just click the x. Some sites that will be the end of it. Other sites will keep adding more.

Quality of the streams varies greatly. Sometimes they're good, other times horrible. You won't know till you try. Switching feeds can sometimes help.

The List:  The first few do tend to be better than the later ones in my experience, but no guarantee on that. It's mostly just the order I have them bookmarked.

"Does nothing wrong" is in the eye of the beholder. See: Capobianco, Bobby. Good student, nice kid, reportedly put no extra effort toward basketball development. Was allegedly encouraged to seek more playing time elsewhere. Where does he fit?

Stays on scholly 'til he leaves? Matt Roth got four years on scholly, got his undergrad and masters degree, and wanted a fifth year on scholly. Should IUbball be required to give him the fifth year?

It seems a bit of a stretch to say that an Asst. S & C coach leaving (that is if he really is leaving) is a sign that the head coach is losing the ship. People leave jobs for all sorts of reasons. A promotion is one of the big ones, being an Asst. S & C coach wouldn't exactly be my life goal if I was in that field.  Maybe the guy doesn't like Crean, it happens. I've left a few jobs over the years because I didn't like my boss. Doesn't mean the boss was doing a bad job, the boss was still there long after I left. Sometimes you just don't see eye to eye on things or your chances for promotion are slim so you move on. There's tons of reasons to find a new job.  It happens in all walks of life.

Agree completely.  People tend to get a bit myopic when someone leaves a job in the program,  I'm not talking about the transfers more on the coaching and operations side.  It goes all the way back to when Drew Adams left the program for New Mexico people had some of the same reactions that he was running from Crean, likewise with KJ and Calbert.  Guys will take jobs that allow them to climb the ladder and there is nothing wrong with that.  Whether you like your boss or not you will do that.

Moreover, if Seth Cooper leaves, he leaves after four years as Asst S&C Coach. Not exactly indicative of a guy who came in, sensed disaster, and ran for the hills. If JeNey Jackson left for Butler? That would be troubling. This? Doesn't feel like that at all.

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana - The Indiana University men's basketball program was honored for the second straight year as a member of an elite group of Division I sports teams being recognized for top academic performance as part of the NCAA's academic reform program. The Hoosiers are one of 40 programs nationally to be honored and joins Michigan as the only other Big Ten program on the list of honorees.
Other sports honored at IU include men's cross country, men's golf, men's soccer, men's outdoor track and field and women's tennis.
Based on their most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rates, these awards are given each year to teams that posted multiyear APRs in the top 10 percent of all squads in their sports. The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester or quarter by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete. The APR includes eligibility, retention, and graduation in the calculation and provides a clear picture of the academic culture in each sport. Full APRs for all teams, including access to postseason play and penalties for low-performing teams, will be released May 14.
"I want to congratulate these student-athletes for their outstanding work in the classroom, and commend head coaches Tom Crean, Ron Helmer, Todd Yeagley, Mike Mayer and Lin Loring for continuing to reinforce academic achievement as a top priority." said IU Vice President and Director of Athletics Fred Glass.
Men's golf is being honored for the seventh straight year, women's tennis for the third straight season and men's basketball and men's soccer are being recognized for the second straight year.
Each year, the NCAA tracks the classroom performance of student-athletes on every Division I team through the annual scorecard of academic achievement, known as APR. The rate measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or quarter and provides a clear picture of the academic performance in each sport. The most recent APRs are multi-year rates based on scores from the 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-2013 academic years.

"We are very proud that these programs are being publicly commended on their outstanding academic achievement," Glass added. "The academic success of these teams is typical of our programs, whose multi-year scores routinely exceed the NCAA acceptable minimum of 930 by a very large margin, thanks to the expectations set by their coaches, the support of our academic services unit, and most importantly the strong effort of the student-athletes themselves." 2014 APR Background
The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation and provides a measure of each team's academic performance.
    · The most recent APR scores are based on a multi-year rate that averages scores from the 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years.
    · The goal of the NCAA's academic performance program is improvement, not punishment. Not only does the program ensure accountability for student-athletes, teams and institutions, but also it provides fairness by considering individual circumstances per team and school.
    · This year marks the 10th year of APR data for most teams. The APR is a multi-year rate based on the most recent four years of data.
