Does anyone else feel Crean would be the best ASSISTANT coach in the NCAA??

Looking back at the success from 2003-2015 I'm not sure i wouldn't have rather had 6 different coaches over that time period. IMO Stevens is a candidate that will make me forget about 2003-2015.

Honestly, if you go into any gym here in Indiana, YMCA, or anywhere that has a pickup game, look at what shoes the best players are wearing... Not a lot of Adidas. Nike/Jordan is what the kids are wearing.

IMO I would rather have a interim coach for 2-3 years if that means we get Stevens at the end of year 3.

I was wondering why Doyel has been kind of quiet lately calling for Crean's head.. Albers and Bozich both defend Crean to a fault. There act pretty unrealistic of the perception of the program outside of Indiana. Does anyone know why the Indiana Media is so nice to Tom? Are they waiting for how the season finishes?

Yes, but didn't Crean know that NV was gonna be a one and done? So Fisher could have been the replacement. I have read that Fisher wasn't happy and Crean failed to resolve the issues.

I would say that Fisher was his plan to replace NV. ... I would say it was Crean's failure to get Fisher to stay was his wasted chance.

Has this been answered? From a coaches perspective. How can this talented of a team be this bad at D?... I've heard it has to do with us trying to get into position with defensive rebounding.... But really, can some one explain it to me like I'm 5?

Yes, but Nike is the leader. The best products. Most brand loyal devotees. It's AMERICAN. They have the best basketball players under that brand. I want Nike first, but I would take UA.. I do not want Adidas under any circumstance.

I couldn't agree more. I'm not sure I have learned anything of substance from Crean. Again, like him as a person and as a coach, but get him as far away from Indiana ASAP.

Please lead this group and get everyone on the "let your frustration heard by telling Fred Glass" train. I honestly don't know if Glass knows how bad it is.

Dakich said today that Sampson talked about how Crean's teams always wore down at the end of the year.

And hopefully Adidas doesn't want to pay us as much because Crean has taken us out of the elite conversation, thus allowing us to go with NIKE/UA

Nike pays less, yes. But it helps football tremendously and they have imo better products, more brand loyal recruits, better pro athletes. Adidas big star was D. Rose... Under amour is a better choice at this point.

What are the peegs blogs like? Constant Crean hate over there? What do they say about him?

I don't want to hear another excuse. FIX it, and FIX it now. If that means getting a new coach, then go out and get the most sought after coach.
