Agreed.  We're past the point of moral victories IMO.

A co-worker is going to the game (O$U fan).  I'd love for IU to win, I expect the defense to be solid again but I'm pretty scared of Lagow completing passes to the other team.

Hopefully we get a win so you can rub it in your co-worker's face.

I'm pretty worried about Lagow too. I think he really makes or breaks things for us. I'm worried that he's going to open the game tonight with a pick 6 or something and zap all the excitement out of the stadium.

No luck for me on my iPhone 6! Even created a new account when kept telling me error messages.  Hate this iPad view! Want to be able to follow on phone.... any suggestions Hoosier Nation?

I usually use desktop view instead of the app. Have you tried logging in on Safari?

Actually at least one of the picks against Neb was Ricky Jones fault for a wrong route. Kind of gets old when everyone assumes the INT is on the QB.

I really hope that you're right about Lagow this year. We don't need him to be great. We just need him to be average and keep turnovers down.

I know but ours are all still hot and ours win awards. I think part of it is the uniforms. I like PUs more than ours and generally everything looks good in black

They make the cheerleaders wear too much makeup, imo. I've seen a few just out and about and they look much better then than they do during games.

Plus, the official scorers are the main reason I can't stand boxing at times. Last night two officials gave every round to Mayweather. If that went to a decision I would have loved to have heard that explanation. Mayweather landed less than 15 shots in the first two rounds combined. Everybody and their brother knew how the fight would go. They didn't need to do what they did. People can see what was happening.

That's crazy. I can't think of any justification for giving Floyd every round. He didn't do anything in the first few! I saw this on another message board and thought it was interesting.

"A guy with zero pro boxing fights and a relatively limited amount of training landed 111 punches in 9.5 rounds on the most talented defensive fighter in history.

For perspective, nine other Mayweather opponents landed less than 100 punches in 12 rounds -- including Pacquiao, who only landed 81.

Conor has absolutely nothing to be ashamed about."

^^exactly what I was thinking. I read just now where the players all go to a local high school and then play for this separate "academy." Schedule consists of other teams in similar situations such as Prolific Prep where Paul Scruggs and josh Jackson both attended. Will be interesting to see the reaction in the Kentuckiana area over this entire thing.

Yeah I've heard of a few schools like that now. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes more common.

I'm not a fan of boxing.  I get that its an ancient contest and could be interpreted as the ultimate way to determine superiority or whatever.  It's also barbaric and those are real brains getting jostled around.  MMA is slightly better, in that at least you can win by arm bar instead of brain-shaking.

Soo what you're saying is fight night party at your house tomorrow? :92:

Fully healthy IT? Or coming off of severe hip injury IT? Nobody can guard Lebron. But who else on the Cavs is better than their counterpart? The bench with the kids will be better. IMO only one player on the Cavs can even keep them in the series.

The Cavs win every starting matchup except  pg. They also have the better bench.

  9. Maybe I'm just blinded by my Lebron fandom, but I think Boston got worse this summer and Cleveland got better.  IT can actually run an offense with Lebron off the court unlike Kyrie, and now they have depth at the sf position to cut down Lebron's minutes. IT was actually a more efficient scorer than Kyrie last year. Then there's the Brooklyn pick which could be flipped for a disgruntled star (maybe Cousins) later on in the season. Adding Cousins would be a massive help against Golden State, or they keep it and have a shot at Bagley/Porter.

Boston lost their two best perimeter defenders in Crowder and Bradley this summer, and they lose IT too. They were this tough, gritty team and now they're not. Kyrie is a phenomenal offensive talent but he plays zero defense. Boston has a mini "Big 3" in Kyrie/Hayward/Horford but none of those guys are a #1 guy on a championship contending team.
