Jamie Shaw of Rivals reporting an IU offer to Bryson Tucker a 6'6" SF who attends Mount Saint Joseph HS in Baltimore, MD. The '24 class isn't ranked by either 247 or Rivals and there's just not much out there on him. No stats on MaxPreps and and an inactive Hudl account. He was selected for the USA U16 National Team that recently competed in the FIBA 2021 Americas Championship and averaged 9.5 ppg. and 4.3 rpg. @BrysonTucker3_

Has anyone considered that perhaps President Whitten is following through on the very things she told the BoT she'd pursue that got her hired to begin with or that she's following the direction the BoT told her they'd like to see the university go when they hired her. Clearly she is a far different president than we've seen at IU for a great many years.

Women's tennis lost to PUke on Friday so the current score is 10-5. Women's golf will conclude tomorrow. Through 2 rounds, Hoosiers are in 2nd place overall at 3 under. PUke is in 4th overall at 5 over. So heading into tomorrow's final round, we hold an 8 stroke edge.

Outstanding day on the mound for Bothwell and we get a 7-1 win. He went 7 innings giving up the lone Minny run on just 2 hits. He walked 4 and struck out 13. As I noted in the above post he's now over 200 strikeouts for his career. Vogel pitched the final 2 innings giving up just 1 hit, walked 1 and struck out 3. Hoosier bats with 11 hits led by Pyne with 3. Brenczewski and Sefcik each with 2. Mathison and Mitchell each had 2 RBI. Brenczewski has really been hitting well and now has a .340 average. Doubleheader tomorrow with the first game to start at noon ET.

Great outing for Kleiman throwing a 3-hitter and Hoosiers take a 9-1 win, our 8th conference win in a row. We had 9 hits led by Bassett with 3 and Minnick and Cooper 2 each. 6 different batters had 1-RBI; Iowa errors led to our other 3 runs. Go for the weekend sweep tomorrow at 2:30 ET and televised on BTN.

She's participating in an AAU event in Knoxville, TN this weekend. Per a tweet from her team she's had multiple dunks today and another X account indicates one of the dunks was one-handed!

Final spring exhibition game our Hoosiers tied Notre Dame 1-1 thanks to a Luka Bezerra goal. Number of regulars were banged up per Coach Yeagley and it was at best a makeshift lineup as Barger, Mihalic, Oduro & Sarver all sat out. Hoosiers actually scored first but ND responded a few minutes later.

Pocket City Spring League started last Tuesday. Sisley had a 48 pt. game.

A masterful pitching performance from Copeland throwing a 2-hit shutout and Hoosiers open the weekend with an 8-0 win. She walked 2; struck out 2. 14 of Iowa's 21 outs from infield ground outs. We had 12 hits led by Stone with 3 and Minnick, VanBrandt and Andrews each with 2. Minnick had 3 RBI and Stone had 2. Tonight was our 7th conference win in a row and evens our conference record at 7-7.
