Don't forget the part where Alkins attends and realizes this is how he can get back at UK for snubbing him. -

How about we complete this dream recruiting weekend by having Davis commit prior and then attend HH and then have Kegler commit during HH????
Sounds alright by me.

Agree! There's a lot to happen still, but I would be ecstatic over a Kegler, Davis, Brown, CuJo, Gelon class. I doubt we'll get them all, but find a way to lock that class up in the Fall, and then based on NBA entrants and transfers, let the chips fall where they may in the Spring with Alkins/Maker.
What I like about the initial group of Kegler, Davis, Brown, CuJo and Gelon is that outside of Gelon they're all high 4*'s. While I'd love the stud top 10-20 recruits, I think you can build a very successful program, and probably a more stable/consistent one, with guys like Watford, Yogi, Troy, Bryant, Morgan, Kegler, Davis, Brown, etc. 4 * guys that are likely to stay 2-4 years. That's your foundation, then the McDonald's guys are gravy as opposed to required.

I think most of us figured this...
@JonRothstein: Big Ten nugget: Indiana's two freshman PF's -- O.G. Anunoby & Juwan Morgan -- are going to be in Hoosiers' rotation. Will add depth. #iubb

Crimson and Cream got a reaction from Hovadipo in Indiana vs Rutgers Game Thread
I still have more faith in Redding than others. It takes a special back (TeCo) to play with Diamont and still dominate. Redding is no Teco, and he's not even a Howard, but he's still a good back. I think with a capable passing game, hopefully led by Nate, Redding will prove to be a solid back Saturday.

Where else could you get that?

Both of them? Or would you give the younger Maker a little extra time to... Matur.
Boom. It doesn't get better Thon that.

I'm still feeling it folks! I pretty made up my mind that the Makers will play for IU and we will just go ahead and make it so. Just put your faith in me and my gut feeling on this one.

This is a real must win. A bowl team wins this game, while we may be able to pull together 6 wins even without it (though, it will be tough) the reality is that Rutgers is a weak team that we are genuinely better than and it's homecoming.
I think Suds will be back and it's always hard to tell with RBs. His injury may be worse or there is just too much of a drop in his performance with the injury. I really hope Howard still gets his chance to shine, and am glad we have more than just the 1 year with him. The question will be whether the coaching staff notices we still have injuries and changes the game plan. Maybe the lack of faith in Redding was justified last week, but the amount of early passing plays with Zander despite not connecting them was astounding. Though, if no Suds then we're looking at Cameron this week not Zander.

If Sudfeld is ready we may be able to get by with having Redding as our main back. Not saying we couldn't use Howard, we could because he's definitely better, but if Sudfeld is able to open up the passing game Redding may have an easier time running; let's face it, with Diamont at QB the defense could put 9 people in the box without worry and it'd take a very special back to run against that.
