U should check the hired Mike Woodson thread. Anyway just joking around. 

You will never see me "wildly excited" about any thing Woodson did, short of "retiring". Please do go back and review my posts... I said from the start that no matter who Woodson got from the portal, nor how much talent they had on paper, the proof would be in the coaching - that no matter what the collection of talent looked like, Woodson was still the coach and that it would not end well. Turns out that I was a freaking Nostradamus on the subject.
DeVries is proven to be a better coach that Woodson. He resurrected two D1 programs in short order. DeVries seems to have a clear plan about his portal work, and appears to be building a team of parts... and it's true, we don't know how this will turn out, but I am way more optimistic about this team than I was for the past 8-10 years.
All Woodson ever did was look bewildered and make excuses for the poor performance of his team. Without TJD, Woodson would have missed the tournament all four years...

These players are worth whatever the market dictates…whatever teams are willing to pay. 
If you asked Duke admin, Flagg specifically is worth probably 10million+ based upon all he brings to the team on/off the court. 
 
The NCAA and schools have profited for decades on high interest in college sports that’s fueled by strong regional tribalism and partly by the kids being less-talented than professionals. That difference in quality of play and its unpredictability makes the sport great for a lot of people. I’d never cite the lower quality as a reason they shouldn’t be making this kind of money. 

Perfect recruitment for the some of the doomers here.  
He chooses IU: He only cared about the money and is a bag chaser. 
He chooses UK: DeVries couldn't close even with a money advantage and he clearly is the wrong guy for the job.  
 

HSN guys say IU offer to Wilkerson is 2.8m and UK is 1.9m.

Man I don’t get all the hate for this guy wanting to get paid. He pretty much has one year to lock in some serious earnings in his life so you have to take advantage. 
 
Besides, there is no reason a guy who wants to maximize his earnings can’t also work his a$$ off. Last year we had a bad culture that led to sub par attitudes and underperformance and that was on Woodson. This year it’s on Devries to make sure we’re getting guys who actually play hard all season. 

I’m going back to NY  to watch baseball games but the food in Queens is the best because everyone around the world cooks there.

I have a 14-year-old pooch. She doesn't move quite like a puppy any longer -- but she's hanging in there. Her quality of life took a significant upturn once she stopped drinking and smoking. 

If anyone wants to discuss dog quality of life , I’m willing to share how my pup is 15 and still moving like a puppy.
