I'm just seeing what most of you already know about Louisville firing Kenny Payne after 2 years. This is why we currently suck as a program. All the damn slow learners involved with IU athletics who can't understand truths of who is a terrible coach unless you see it for years....YOU SUCK. YOURE KILLING OUR PROGRAM. GO AWAY. The IndyCar season officially starts today!  First race of the year is at 12:30 on ABC.  We have no basketball to watch...so this is what my tv will be on.   I only follow this race and the Indy 500, but I'm hoping some of the posters who follow the series can help keep us updated here.   These cars are so much louder now than in the previous couple years, was there a big change in the offseason?  The last two years I couldn't hear them from my house, today they're so loud I have to crank up the tv with my windows open.   Pole position today belongs to Will Power who broke the track record in qualifications.

Now we know. The timing was to convince Liam to stay. Now that he's gone, our promise to return Woody is gone too. He gone.

I can't help but to wonder about the timing of this. It seems weird to announce that he'll be back with games left in the season. The thought that keeps hitting me is....this is to reassure a recruit's mind. Or a player deciding to return or not's mind. My guess is there will not be a mass exodus with the announcement of Woody's return. My guess is Dolson talked to the team and maybe a recruit (or transfer candidate) or two and thinks there's a possibility of a good team next year if we reassure them that Woody will return. Maybe Mgbako/Reneau/McNeely said they'll come back if Woody stays? I'd have to think this is why there was an announcement today. I can't come up with another reason, maybe you chuckleheads know of one? Timing is just strange. Now with the announcement of Woody returning, it'll be followed up with players announcing they're going to return to "win for Woody". Don't fall for it! The hype train just started it's engine.
