Yogi played in this 37 point win at W Laffy. Think he's got it in him again? -

A zombie walked into his local butcher's shop looking for brains. The selection behind the counter was IU brains, Purdoo brains, and Butler brains. IU brains were $5/pound, Butler was $7/lb, Purdoo was $25/lb. The zombie was confused, IU brains were the best of them all! Why would they be the cheapest? "Stupid zombie" the butcher said. "Do you understand how many Purdoo students it takes to get a pound of brains?" -
I didn't hate Robbie Hummel. I loved watching him cry.

I traveled the USA for 7 years, spent a lot of time in every state (except them weird ones...Alaska and Hawaii). It was a great seven years just after IU and I feel like it really opened my eyes to America as a whole. I really need to get to those last two, but with a baby I don't see that happening soon. Wherever I was, I was the guy from out of town that everybody liked to show around their town. From tuna fishing 100 miles off the coast to vip seats at the infield, I've seen America. I'm sheltered worldwide though, only been to Bahamas and Niagra Falls outside of the USA

I hate them all, lately it's this Purdue guy though...

In fairness I have to say....good adjustments by Coach.

Great games by a few players. Williams, Johnson, Hartman, Yogi. Special shout out to Troy Williams who had his best game in a looooong time. We have the ability to make a run in the tournament, but we need Troy to be Good Troy. Gotta have Good Troy. Great win, first place!
-
We had more intensity tonight than against Penn State where all our players looked tired. But somehow we got outrun on quite a few transition buckets. Iowa is a more athletic team than I thought. The Hawkeyes have swept Michigan State and Purdoo. We beat them. Eat it.

Cody Zeller was sitting in the expensive seats with Marni Mooney. Didn't he just graduate? Or about to? That's respect.

Yup.

Great win, first place! Great games out of Rojo, Niego(!), Hartman. Yogi had a brutal stretch but put it together. I think Troy will always have "bad Troy" moments in every game, but overall he had one of his best games in a while. Bryant was both good and bad but was replaced well with OG, Juwan and Bielfeldt (minus that bad 3 pointer with about two minutes left) Congrats to Coach too, big win. Great free throw shooting. Hoosiers first place in the Big Ten!

I hate a lot of things. I guess I'll add other time zones to the list. Now I have to figure out if I should go to bed early tonight or take a nap tomorrow afternoon. Why do I let IU's schedule rule my life? They owe me. Big win tomorrow to take first place back! -

If we win this game, we're back in first place of the Big Ten. ...but a 9:00 tip on a work night?? I hate young people. -
The championship game of the LFL (lingerie football league) is on fuse right now. Channel 339 on DirecTV. Maybe this is off topic on this thread, but I bet if you tune in right now you'll forgive me.

We didn't have the hustle or energy tonight. Penn State did. Were we tired from late season practices again? Why does this happen?
-
Another year, another disappointing loss to a bottom feeder. Offense didn't show up tonight. Win Thursday and we're in first place with the advantage of the tie breaker. Gotta win Thursday.

Mine was too. The first one was anyway. But now we need to embrace it, it's all over this board. What's the new rule for kids testing the NBA but coming back? If he doesn't at least test it, he's nuts. -

Yeah....no postgame sucks. Especially since I took a nap today in order to stay up late. (young people shut up and get a job) Anybody got a link to post game pressers? -

How about our defense in the Big Ten...wow. They also deserve a ton of credit for this win. This team is fun. -

A huge road blowout win against the #3 team in the conference. BLOWOUT. Awesome. Yogi is fun to watch this year. This year has made me love him. I mentioned it in another thread...Hovadipo mentioned it once...now it's been said a few times on this board...is OG a one and done? There are a few plays every game where he's insanely good. Bad Troy is really bad. Thank goodness for foul trouble. What happened to Rob Johnson since Big Ten season started? Yikes. Great coaching by Crean too. Excellent blowout win. 9-1 baybee!!!! -

A 9:00 PM tip? On a work night? I see an afternoon nap in my future today. This is a big time basketball game between two football schools. Go Hoosiers -
What would be on your IU Basketball Bucket List?
Josh replied to IndyHutch's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
An absolute IU basketball highlight, in the summer of 2009, I sat in Assembly Hall watching the team in a pickup game. The only other person in the Hall was my wife...who read a book the whole time. She didn't understand the enormity of the situation. I got to interact with the players...letting them know what time it was...telling Matt Roth he was on fire...passed an out of bounds ball to Watford as he called me "sir"...helping ref a charge/block call between Verdell and Dumes....it was amazing. I'm sure every player on that team has forgotten but it was amazing to me. That's IU basketball to the fans -
Yeah, that's true this year. Two years ago they went there because of him. This year he's a shell of his old self. I guess I thought that if we kept Peyton and drafted defense we'd be just as good. But I also guess we'd still have the same Grigson in charge, so our offensive line would have killed him. Just thinking out loud. This is a pretty good article on Peyton: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25467570/peyton-manning-at-39-all-you-need-to-know-about-his-historically-great-career What a great career it's been. Thanks for the memories in a Colts uniform, get that win next week!

When they're bad...they're good enough to win. This team is pretty good at closing out games. At least since Big Ten season has started.
