What’s funny is the burner mob is against Doyel, I mean, who isn’t, and it was one the mobs accounts that helped get Doyel trending today. And for those keeping record, Doyel isn’t a Woody fan. I don’t think these two coincidences aren’t connected.

White Boy Rick is in the gang. Anyone source him out. A barstool guy, no?

No chance. Only someone who is personally invested with this coaching staff would care as much at Tyme/NGW cares.

I’m pretty sure it’s not Ya or Woody’s wife. I don’t know who his agent is. It’s someone whose close and it is personal to them.

Drew Thelwell (Morehead State) commits to Iowa.  Perhaps their Perkins replacement -- doesn't play the defense Perkins does or score much, but good distributor.  10 ppg, 3.1 reb, 6.2 apg.  44/34/64 shooter.
Tarris Reed of Michigan commits to U Conn.  Of interest -- U Conn likely could be starting two bigs next year in Tarris Reed and Sampson Johnson.
Malik Mack (Harvard) officially joins Georgetown.
Nikita Kontstantynovskyi (Monmouth), 6'10" center enters. 9.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in 23 minutes.  Mostly mentioned here because that last name.

I like the maxim about the truth being somewhere in the middle.
However, I can't help but feel like I should side with President Whitten in this.
There isn't a more self-righteous, entitled group of people on the planet than college professors.

With the Lucy Olsen news came this reaction --  Kentucky transfer guard Maddie Scherr is no longer taking a scheduled visit to Iowa, per source.
Time for CTM to jump in if there's any potential interest.

93% of those who voted which is probably ~30% of those eligible to vote which is around 26% of the faculty wanting her gone. There would be plenty of public figures thrilled with only having 26% wanting them out of office.

Ballo plays hard.  rebounds hard.  Hustles his best.  I really like him and this addition.  Free throws will bother me, I can guarantee that but we are definitely assembling an Uber "talented" roster!
At least we are trying to win the whole damn thing and for that effort, I applaud it.  As far as to what happens on the court, I'm less convinced.

He certainly had a tough year. But 83rd percentile in scoring from off-ball screens.
Woody better run some screens for this man.

I tend to agree.  He pretty much always gets it done.  I don’t really want him at IU but I’ve long come to respect what he does and he generally knows what it takes to win.

    That's a great question.
I'll try some guesstimate math based on $6 million total NIL to parse out to 13 players:
Ballo - $1.1 million (Goodman reporting that the price for IU was less than others were offering). Reneau, Mgbkao; $650k each Rice, Carlyle; $600k each Galloway, Tucker; $400k each Cupps, Leal, $250k each Newton; $200k That's a total of $5,100,000 with three spots open. That means we are under the $6,000,000 NIL even if we pay real money to two and leave the 13th spot open. Malone seems reasonably likely and he would be a low cost NIL signee.
    We good.

I didn't want him anywhere near Cal or that chicken money.
