That is true as well, but it just drives me even more nuts that Race is already on the block before TJD can even get to the basket. Why make it harder for your All American than you have too? Really intrigued to see the player Banks develops into!

One thing that has absolutely bothered me for much of the season and in the game yesterday, nearly every time TJD has the ball outside of the post and is sizing up to drive on his defender, Race drops to the opposite block dragging an additional defender to the post before TJD can get his position. I know it is really late to address this but it needs to be addressed in practice this week. I understand the mindset of Race is getting in position for the drop off or the rebound, but if he would just wait a split second to drop, it would open the lane more for TJD. It would also open a little more space for Race to receive the drop off or gain some room for a put back slam. When Race is not in the game, this doesn't happen as often with MR or JG and I wish it didn't happen so often with Race. Timing could be the difference from being bounced in the first round or TJD absolutely destroying a team in the post. He needs room to operate and clogging the lane with extra defenders is generally no bueno! I know I am not a coach, but just one of the things that drives me nuts!

I have been working a compressed schedule for the last 7 years similar to the 9-80 with a little structure. Basically the first week is 4-9s and an 8, Second week 4-9s and an off day. Love having my off day as it is nice to schedule appointments or just be able to go somewhere that closes before you would normally get home. Only issue for me is the added commute, to avoid traffic I am getting up at 5am and usually not getting home till 4:30-5pm. So on my 9 hour days, they are pretty much a wash for getting anything accomplished, especially if one of the kids has an activity after school. Also, 9pm games suck on those days as well, lol.

Good, either team should provide some fuel for the fire.

No matter what happens in this game Woody needs to reduce practice the rest of the week and get some rest for TJD. I know they are young but he is either exhausted or maybe reverted back to the not really interested type play. They already know what PU is going to do.
