(2022) - PF Kaleb Banks to Tulane

When did Logan announce he was entering the portal, and then ultimately transferring? Looks like he attended this with Kaleb in April, still wearing a Hoosiers sweatshirt. Unless these were old pictures from a prior event. Good on him if this was after those announcements, although he could of dressed up a little more haha.

I'm dying...it really is IU Southeast mascot haha. Gus the Grenadier.
  3. I do not fully understand the guidelines around NIL, but this is what I have been told as well. His Nba ownership muddies the water. Now...are one of his companies or a company he has ownership in allowed to provide NIL deals, or does he have to stay out entirely? There was also a rumor floating that Mgbako posted a picture holding and promoting a water brand, that is owned by a good friend of Mark Cubans (supposedly). I think this is potentially where Cuban could get involved and help IU, in helping set up or make introductions for players to companies for NIL deals, without actually having to do so himself. Providing access, not $. But...I also could be wrong, and would welcome education in this space from anyone who knows the in's and out's.

    Is that confirmed what happened?
  5. I watched...can someone tell me where this is all coming from? I know who he is, but never pay attention to him. Why the IU hate and shade?
  6. Holy hell, we got him!
  7. Does anyone know if he’s planning to do a live announcement, or just posting his decision?
  8. What I do know, is that I don’t know anything…and I have absolute confidence in that. I’m local in Bloomington, have tried to work my “sources” close to the program or typically in the know. No one has anything to share…typically I can get something from someone.
  9. His Instagram story is showing a countdown with the commitment for 6:00pm EST.
  10. I don't get excited about who follows who...but interesting that someone of his status and position would follow a HS kid soon to be freshman unless he was going to be wearing cream and crimson...
  11. Just peak IUBB off-season... We are all a bunch of lunatics', just really sick in the mind. And I freaking love every second of it haha.
  12. Why did I read this with Bill Walton's voice?
  13. This is amazing haha.
  14. I'm trying to not let myself get too excited here...It makes logical sense to me to choose IU. Why decommit from Duke and choose another school where playing time will be about on par, with a likelihood you come off the bench. At IU, he starts day 1 and has a significant role and a chance to hear his name called early next year in the draft...but at the end of the day, Kansas and Self are enough alone to tilt the scale.
  15. Wonder when he will set his decision date for. Man this would be a huge get...
  16. Now this I trust... Bring it home Woody!
  17. Figured, but wanted to check. I'm a little skeptical of twitter user 'Ble55ed" breaking this news. He tagged Slater and 247hoops, neither of which have confirmed this. Not saying he will visit there...but I need another source to get my hopes up here.
  18. Where did he confirm it?

Now the kid is going through the draft process despite not playing a minute of college basketball. Definitely odd he couldn't earn a single minute, even in garbage time for them.

I think the radio in that picture has been in there since 1987....had one of those in our kitchen growing up. what the heck is that haha.

    College Bball Thread

Not shocked at all...and would be surprised if this isn't happening at every school across the country. Sports betting is so accessible and has been moved out of the bookies basement and into the mainstream of sports culture. Hell, ESPN runs and discusses betting lines on their programs, and then flips over to college games. Will be interested to see if these student athletes were betting on their own games, other teams or other sports entirely.

Personally, I've always been more of a Bo McMillin, Madison Gonterman and James Horne fan. Although Gonterman never beat Purdue and Horne split with them. Bo was the guy, got us our first big ten conference title. All kidding aside...looking back at our coaches and records, and it's just sad. McMillin is the only coach with a .500 or better conference record. He was also .561 overall, had an undefeated team and is the last coach in our history with a winning record, but that takes us back to 1934-1947 time frame. Since then, the best conference record is Mallory at .376, behind Allen at .327. Poor Bob Hicks was 1-8 overall and 0-6 in conference...followed behind ole DiNardo at 8-27 .229 overall and 3-21 .125 in conference. Just Brutal haha.

Someone help me here. Averaged 2.3 pts last year at Miami….looks like purely a bench depth move. Can he shoot? At 6’9 what type of player is he? EDIT: went back and watched some highlights. He looks athletic, long. Can dribble and attack the rim for his size (good spin move). Form on the limited shots looks good. Don’t see why he couldn’t up those avgs. for us next year.
