I seen some posts in the fire mike woodson thread and couldn't bring myself to post this and argue or start a debate in that great thread. However woodson definitely did a decent job with tjd and ware imo. So saying tjd saved woodson may be true woodson needs some credit I think especially with ware. Jhs also did well under woodson for the most part. Woodson has had a few bright spots early on with special talents. We will have to play much better than we have imo. We can definitely win 1 or both but the eye test says otherwise. I will say woody has surprised me a couple times when I thought the team was done. It's a bit beyond plausible. This has been a hotly debated topic on here with some getting angry at the mere notion of it being connected. Is cliff the same trainer who was getting all jacked up with the team during games on the sideline or was that the previous trainer? Perhaps it's normal. I think most kids are smart enough to know that if you are out after midnight at a bar the night before a game that is pressure you don't need. If you have a bad game then that will be the blame. I doubt to many successful programs players are out doing that. If you are a star player and out like that night before a game you better be sure to play great imo or **** will be said on social media. I have no problem with kids having fun and drinking but not night before. Woodson and miller teams aren't good enough to blow anyone out because they rarely ever shoot good enough from three or free throws tro do so. Then they give up to many great looks from 3. To many easy layups given up or we turn the ball over too often. Woodson is worse than Archie imo but iu has imo been almost the same exact team since crean was fired. You people crack me up thinking dusty is going to come here! We had our chance last year! Not everyone on here wanted him but most felt like it was good. His buyout is low cause michigan was conservative but giving his early success that will change and probably during conference play if they are doing good. Michigan is a football school but they have had great success at basketball. Dusty will get paid huge at michigan if he builds it to elite status again and he knows that. Imo leaving that and coming to our **** show would be a huge gamble and not smart. I think the reward of getting iu elite again would be better for him but the risk is high and not worth it. I don't like the state of this basketball program right now. I am not sure anyone is. If you are i truly question if you are a troll.
