Eh, neither are a point guard. They lost their three best players (storr, hepburn, and wahl). 2 of which didn't have to leave.
Haven't replaced them with anything. I agree Blackwell will be good, but doesn't make up for what they lost to the portal.

I mean, I think it depends on the "shooter" It is just my opinion but...
I would personally rather have guards/wings who can score at all three levels and a 5 as the priority over everyone else. Once those are filled, then you add a guy who can stretch the floor as his role.
Just looking at the National Championship game, Loyer and Karaban were the best shooters on the floor. They had little to no impact in that game. Did they help their teams get there? of course. But it was the dynamic guards and dominant post players that made them so good.

Yup. And 4 months with Marshall would certainly impact his strength and explosiveness. My concern would be, and there’s no way to know this from highlight reels, does he mentally process at the speed you need? A lot of otherwise good players don’t. Banks didn’t. If they think he does then he makes a lot of sense. If you’re not sure,  that’s a tougher call.

I'm still bummed out about 2021-- the man was on absolute FIRE and tore his hamstring. In the 21 games before that injury --- Kyle was hitting .338/.409/.974 with 16HRs --- he was traded to BOS at the trade deadline that year and tore it up in Fenway. They loved him. 
only played 113 games that year and still hit 32HR and 71RBI

What a fascinating career that guy’s having. His stat line is so weird and yet he’s a winning player.
