Correct -- I was at the game. It was generally ones vs ones and twos vs twos. The twos at WR that Jackson was throwing to were McCauley and Addison Cody; pretty good targets and players Jackson is already in synch with.
Rourke was rough for the first few series.
By the last few series I noticed multiple plays where Rourke checked off of multiple covered receivers and delivered a strike to either Sarrat or (likely starting) TE Zach Horton. By the end of the scrimmage it was clear to me that Rourke should be the choice. He plays like a grown-up out there. Him and Horton are going to do some good things together.

Trey Galloway was our best guard last year on both ends of the floor and it wasn’t even close.
He currently projects to be the first guard off the bench.
If that doesn’t generate optimism I’m not sure what could.

We are in the race. He just visited Colorado and my understanding is that Colorado  got him to visit because they have a lot of minutes and a lot of $ to offer him. I still think we are in a good position, but he wants to take his time. I expect it to come down to IU vs Notre Dame just due to proximity to his home and where he played his first 4 years of college.
Remember - this is his first time going through a big time recruitment, so I am not surprised to see him taking his time. I think we could hear something this week.

I’ve got a really nice story for you all:
I just had a Bloomington college frat reunion weekend. A bunch of guys in their 50’s reminiscing. A truly perfect end to the weekend?
Five of us walking down the stairs of the Union after brunch at the Tudor Room at 11:15 this morning.
Waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs in the Union Hotel lobby? Woody and Walsh with Kaanan Carlyle and his mom. We chatted up Carlyle for two or three minutes and congratulated him—shook his hand and welcomed him to the family. He’s got a really easy smile and nice way about him. Looked us all in the eye and had that “Indiana is different” happy look.
Handshakes with Woody: “love you Coach-great month we’re having.” Woody handshake back- “appreciate it guys.” Talked with him for a minute or two. Trailing behind us was Ya, Kenya, and a very wide awake and engaged Armond Hill.
    Great stuff.

    Understood.
That's why government/public schools have more restrictions (or should) and private schools, including daycare facilities can be all in on a religious or political philosophy, as long as they don't discriminate against a protected class.
For instance, a daycare facility can clearly state that they will proselytize about a particular religion as part of their curriculum, but cannot bar white, black, or green people from becoming customers. But they can bar those customers if they demand that that religion be removed from the curriculum, or scream in class about how wrong it is, because 'screaming people' are not a protected class.
So,  Burger King cannot ban people from their stores based on color, religion, gender, etc, but a vegan also cannot successfully demand that Burger King remove meat from the menu.
And for both private and public, everyone cannot "have it your way." Because that's an impossible burger.

Anderson was 32+ mpg  at FGCU and always started. Goode was 20 mpg at Illinois and rarely started. That, plus Goode's next-level connections to IU make it a much more foreseeable fit in a 15 mpg role.
By the way, Goode averaged about one more rebound per 40 minutes than Anderson last year.

Because money is a baseline 'something', but lots of schools have money and therefore money isn't everything!
Thanks very much for sharing Chris. I love how you bring info, but qualify it with a dose of reality. Because it's my impression that there are rarely absolute certainties and I enjoy the hell out of real information, not telling people what they want to hear and pretending it's certain.

A Kelley MBA is a helluva good thing to have. ND is a better degree generally, but a Kelley MBA nullifies that ND advantage.

    It's really true!
After we saw Carlyle, Woody, and Walsh, we walk out of the revolving doors at the entrance to the Biddle lobby and Ya, Armond, and Kenya are coming in yukking it up big time. Armond was leading the good vibes session.

Yeah in that case give me Goode. IU legacy/Indiana kid, played in the B1G, made more 3's than Anderson playing on a top ten Kenpom team, and is the same height but heavier than Anderson, in case we need him to play some 4.

He was also going against the 2's so I'm not sure it's a fair comparison. I will say I was not overly impressed with Rourke but it's still way too early to be worried. I do like the idea of having a solid backup with some experience.

Ha, wouldn't that be a hilarious plot twist! Get a back-up C in Furst, back-up wing shooter Goode all while sticking it to Purdoo, Illinois and Notre Dame!? Sign me up!
Seriously doubt that happens, but I agree with you that Furst would be a great fit.
