From a recent Scout (non-$) interview of Maker's 'guardian' Ed Smith.   Maker has already taken visits to Indiana, Kansas and Kentucky, but according to Smith they don’t currently have any other visited scheduled. “Those three have been really hard on him,” he said.   Indiana received the last visit from Maker and Smith said they were impressed with the make up of the place. “It was great,” he said. “There’s a feel to the place. I talked to Thon and he was like ‘wow.’ He could feel it.”   Maker and Smith took a trip to Kentucky as well. Smith said the professional feel to the Wildcats is what stands out. “When you go to Rupp, that’s a big time feel,” he said.“The pro side of things,” he added about Kentucky. “Those guys are doing what pros do.”   With Kansas, Smith said Bill Self is among the reasons Maker likes the Jayhawks. “I like the high low situation that they run,” he said. “Bill Self is aggressive and one of those guys that empower a kid.”   He nails the difference between IU and UK.

    Benches are not a push.     Next year's bench will be much better and deeper, especially since Derek Elston's knees were dragging him down at the end of that season,

    Not true. The past two years the Hoosiers had NO chance (uinless you felt the need to post in a condescending, literal manner, that's just not true).   The top 15 or so teams have a legit chance at winning the whole thing.    If CTC and the players buy in defensively, there is no question we have plenty in the tank to be one of those teams.

  Uhmmmmm...a team that is ranked 10-20 has a chance at the championship.

  Starters for the 12-13 team: One freshman (YF), two seniors (CW, JH), one junior (VO), one soph (CZ).  Likely starters for this team: One freshman (TB), two seniors (YF, HP), one junior (TW), one soph (JB).

  This team will have a ton of experience:   Yogi, Nick Z, Hanner as seniors Troy, Colinn as juniors JB2, Rojo as sophs with a lot of game experience

Purdooo will not be pleased. Their recent de-commit CJ Walker is blowing up.

Hey, if the basketball thing doesn't work out for those UK guys, they'll always have their college degrees to fall ba.....   Ahhh, never mind.

  That "hint" makes me think we are about to receive good news on the Yogi front?  That we be quite excellent.

  All kidding aside, it must suck for that fanbase to have a series of one-season stands with their players. I know they win a lot, but they win with players that never have the time to develop a cemented connection to the university, its students, or the fanbase.
