OFFICIAL: Ferrell returns for Senior Season
Stuhoo replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Yogi Ferrell will absolutely go down as an all-time Hoosier great. Everyone makes mistakes along the way to becoming special. The best of the best learn from those mistakes and rise very high to become leaders on AND off the court. I betcha Yogi will be forever looked upon as an all-time Hoosier great in the eyes of Hoosier Nation. -
Question: Half Season of Maker or Hold The Scholly?
Stuhoo replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Hold the scholly; not enough playing time to go around already. Besides, Middle School Bob would kick Maker's sorry behind. -
Holt and DDavis (if healthy) are too good to keep off the court.
-
AHHHHH!!!!! We may need to have six players on the court at once. Stacked.
-
As an aside...we are allowed 13 scholly players, and we have an optimum rotation of nine, or ten, or maaaaybe eleven players. If we get rid of MSB AND April, who's gonna be the guy or two that happily sits on the bench and never gets into a game?
-
I KNEW we never should have retired Magnus Pelkowski's jersey! Might darn near cost us Thon.

SOUNDS LIKE..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIQ9b1FcWxw

What that is... Is really, really good news!!! JBJ2 is: Not ready for the NBA A player with a lot of room for development, especially defensively A very good rebounder for the SG position Someone who can and will greatly contribute to our success next season A high-quality, in-state young man from a good family who are very supportive of the program Today's news is not a revelation, but it is important.

Yogi Leaning towards leaving per multiple sources

Thank you; as always, you seem to take the time to help well-meaning fans understand that reality is complicated, and that unless you really know... ya don't really know. -
Yogi Leaning towards leaving per multiple sources

Yogi will have a college degree very soon. Isn't that a big part of why he's been at IU if he's not NBA material? -
Like "prune" and "potency" and "moist".

(2015) JUCO SG Mychal Mulder to UK
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Allow me to summarize: Mychal Mulder is a very talented player who can shoot the three ball. On a personal level, he is: Stan's replacement who parties hard and smokes weed, and who would be a good choice to stay at a house and babysit one's grandkids!! -
Not like Yogi could. Period.

The State of Florida is overrun by a fancy creature called the "Palmetto Bug". The reason they are called Palmetto Bugs is because there are so many of them, if we called them by their actual name... "Cockroach", no one would ever visit Florida! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_woods_cockroach

In Florida, critters rule. Finding a little fella that size is called..."Tuesday".

From NBAdraft.net Jordan Brand Classic practice notes. A review of Thomas going up against all 5* big men: Jordan Brand Classic: Practice Notes By Evan_Tomes Fri, 04/17/2015 - 1:05am Before they play under the lights at the Barclay’s Center (Friday Night), the top high school seniors had two days of practice at Terminal 23. Here are some of the top prospects who stood out at the Jordan Brand Classic practices: Thomas Bryant - Indiana After coming off of an MVP performance at the Derby Classic over the weekend, Bryant is continuing to perform well. Most of the practice consisted of half court drills, but during the full court drills and brief scrimmages, Bryant’s stock has been on the rise. He did a great job defending some talented bigs, while most are considered better than Bryant; he continues to outplay many of them. He runs the floor well and is always active. He does lack a refined post game, but he played inside more than usual, not shooting many threes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our guy can play. Period.

Currently? Eating a nice hunk of cheddar, drinking a cold beer, and protecting America from injustice.

(2015) JUCO SG Mychal Mulder to UK
Stuhoo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Everybody is very high on Mulder. With that kind of consensus among high-level coaches, his committment will not be a reach for any program. -

Once again, UK reveals itsself, this time with a fantastic exchange on the UK board this morning: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Re: Coaches Spreading Rumors About Cal to Pros Originally posted by TrustinCal: Which pro team are they saying he's going to go to? Kentucky. get it? -
From a recent Scout (non-$) interview of Maker's 'guardian' Ed Smith. Maker has already taken visits to Indiana, Kansas and Kentucky, but according to Smith they don’t currently have any other visited scheduled. “Those three have been really hard on him,” he said. Indiana received the last visit from Maker and Smith said they were impressed with the make up of the place. “It was great,” he said. “There’s a feel to the place. I talked to Thon and he was like ‘wow.’ He could feel it.” Maker and Smith took a trip to Kentucky as well. Smith said the professional feel to the Wildcats is what stands out. “When you go to Rupp, that’s a big time feel,” he said.“The pro side of things,” he added about Kentucky. “Those guys are doing what pros do.” With Kansas, Smith said Bill Self is among the reasons Maker likes the Jayhawks. “I like the high low situation that they run,” he said. “Bill Self is aggressive and one of those guys that empower a kid.” He nails the difference between IU and UK.
