It's as simple as this... If we continue to play good defense, we should have a shot at winning every game. Yogi will not shoot lights out like that again. Our half-court offense is a wreck, except for when Stan drives in the gaps or Noah posts up (those don't even work half the time). That being said, I really do think that our defense has been one of the best this year and if that keeps up, our offense won't matter as much.

(2014) LB Greg Gooch to IU
djsalway replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Looks to have pretty decent coverage skills, along with some great ability to stay disciplined on the Option (that could come in handy). -
I mean, I don't think he looks nearly as bad as he did before the "suspension," but that could be mostly due to the fact that we get a little dose of him in each game now, with him playing roughly 10 minutes. He has had a few good plays and a few bad plays since coming back, but I still don't think we know exactly where he stands.

Thoughts on Crowd Booing CTC/ Players?

I was the one that made that argument and the player's name is Zak Irvin. I might not be absolutely correct, but I am pretty positive that is why the students were booing. -
Thoughts on Crowd Booing CTC/ Players?

Still of the opinion that they weren't booing coach Crean or the players on the court. -
I agree that playing in games will help them get better, but with the season coming to a close and us being on the bubble for the tourney, they shouldn't be playing very much, if at all.

Thoughts on Crowd Booing CTC/ Players?
djsalway replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
When I was watching, I didn't think it had anything to do with Crean or the lineup. Zak Irvin made 2 shots while that lineup was in, and I just figured they were booing the in-state kid that left the state. In my eyes, it wasn't directed at the lineup or the coach. -

You are awesome. Huge pet peeve of mine too. -
Let's not get ahead of ourselves and just let the season play out. Plenty of games left to either prove ourselves or screw ourselves.

Good résumé building win. Proud of Yogi for stepping it up today. Noah made some huge plays as well. On to Minnesota. -

That's a debate for another day... Baseball does it right.

Heck, he may. He could do the Jeremy Tyler and go overseas and play one year before going pro. It is possible.

3 of the 4 don't have us as having offered, so I think the consensus is to assume that we haven't offered. Not really sure we need to at this point either, even if we are his "favorite"
-
It doesn't. He was kidding.

247 says we offered.

Ken Pomeroy only dropped us two spots. Good for him. In my mind, we don't really deserve to be number 65 anywhere. Whatever... He still has us going 17-14, which as many people before me said, would not get us in. -

To be fair, I think there's more to the Stan side of things. He got hurt late in the first half and I believe that had something to do with his lack of playing time in the second. -

TROY IS GRABBING EVERYTHING OFF THE BOARDS. I love this version of him.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. -

Delay of game warning on Troy for taking the ball out of net and throwing it to ref.

Very picky. But the rule.

Strength does not come from winning. Prediction League Game 21 (Week 12) IU vs Nebraska (01/30/14)

IU - 68 Nebraska - 63 -
Mo had a solid 15 points last night, but had a rough shooting game from the field going 4-13 (3-8 from three). George Washington won again, 69-47, and should be close to cracking the top 25 if they win their game Saturday against Dayton.

I don't believe so. Pretty sure he was a senior.
