I think a lot of all those wide open jumpers was because of compensating for no Noah. If OSU can't hit them you stay inside, just like teams have done to us all year.

This team is developing lately in a big way on both ends of the court, and doing so against ranked teams. Other teams without leadership at the top at times give up on their coaches (ahem, wonder who that could be?) Not these young Hoosiers.

Damn straight.

Any praise for coach on the end of game execution?  It's like a young team learned to closeout games after they had been through a couple.  Weird.

I personally like Jeff, low-ceiling player, but plays hard and doesn't make mistakes.  On a young team you need a calming influence.

Coach brought up something last night that I hadn't really thought that much about concerning Will. He really did lose all his buddies this year. Then was thrust into a much more demanding role to top it off. 41's post gave an indication of how close those guys were.  You can say shrug it off but these kids aren't robots. People have to adapt to changes and he's had a bunch this year. It was really good to see him have such a good game last night. He's been on a roller coaster at IU. Hope he gets to finish out on top again. 

Just shows how close and special that team was! True family atmosphere in the Indiana Basketball program!

Everything that I've read about him, including interviews with him, show that actually he and his family both value education quite a bit and he has talked about being a 2-3 year guy. Now that was at the start of the season, but he was still projected in the lottery then. So, yes, I think he actually does see a future and an education. And that's coming directly from the source. Like you and many others, I don't know if he will stick to his word, but that'sjust what he has said in the past.

This summer is what will make or break this team.  These kids need to really work hard and bust their tails.  I tend to believe Yogi will use his leadership role to make this happen. 

Can't imagine this place if IU were undefeated and lost to the likes of BC lol
