Few teams in the Big Ten are going to have enough talent and athleticism to stop our guards/wings this season. There are going to be guys on this team who are about as dangerous from deep as they are going to the hole in Blackmon and Yogi, which is huge.
 
Then you've got a guy like WIlliams, who hopefully worked on his jumpshot in the offseason and can add that dimension to his ability to drive and dunk on anyone in the country, and RJ who can obviously shoot from anywhere, and hopefully brings some slashing ability.. And lets nto forget about Stan Robinson, who can do it all.
 
As we saw this year, guard play can win a championship.. I'm not saying that's what will happen, but damn I'm starting to get excited.

Playoffs?  Must admit that I have forgotten what success in playoffs feels like.  When we get some of our relief pitching back from the DL, we will be building some serious momentum.  You best build that cushion while you can. You certainly don't want those Red Legs nipping at your ankles in August & September.

Feels like it's going to be another season of scoring 6+ runs in a game or score 0. Oh well, as long as they make it to the, DID YOU SAY PLAYOFFS!?

Charlotte Bobcats President of Basketball Operations Rod Higgins announced today that the team has signed forward DJ White for the remainder of the season.   The 6-9 White, who signed a pair of 10-day contracts on March 21 and 31, has seen action in two games for the Bobcats this season, tallying two rebounds and one steal in five minutes. He is in his sixth NBA season and has career averages of 5.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 138 games played with the Thunder, Bobcats and Celtics. For his career, White has shot .507 from the field (348-687) and .720 from the free-throw line (113-157).   Prior to joining the Bobcats, White played 27 games this season for the Sichuan Blue Whales of the Chinese Basketball Association. He averaged 20.2 points and 8.5 rebounds in 31.9 minutes, while shooting .672 (219-326) from the field and .733 from the free-throw line (96-131). He scored in double figures 25 times, including 17 games of 20 points or more, and posted eight double-doubles.

I was very saddened to have seen this.  I thought it was a really touching story about Adreian Payne\MSU and the bond he formed with this little girl.  I thought it spoke volumes on his character, and a life cut way too short.

Anderson, a pure power forward. He finished his junior season either first or second in almost every statistical category for the Eagles.   Washington isn't the only school to reach out to him. Indiana, San Diego State, Arizona, Iowa State, and New Mexico have reached out so far. Anderson wants to compile a list of all interested schools and then trim them down.
