Remember when OSU football players sold gear about a decade ago? That cost them a season. However, that was like five players. That said, because the mood has changed (and the regulations not long ago) -- combined with the fact the NCAA is inept and has no adherence to precedence -- my guess is nothing noticeable will happen.

With him concentrating on hoops AND committing to a school like IU, wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see him end up as a 5 star.

Swinton still has some hope. He’s a young buck and I want to say had a catch on 100% of his targets as a true freshman last year. Buckley was a boom or bust grad transfer take. Major bust, but no worries because he’ll be gone. I haven’t even noticed him on the field since Cincy. Hewitt just can’t put it together and is a terrible kick returner to boot. Game saving catch in the PSU game last year though! Sucks to burn a redshirt in theory, but so few guys stick around for 4, let alone 5 years anymore that redshirting is extremely overrated if a guy can help you at all right now.

This is what I’m talking about. Jaquez is going to be a monster. Really excited to see some new blood considering the old guys can’t catch a cold in a preschool.

To get to NBA average NBA PF weight he’ll need to add about 25 pounds. If he can add at least 15 pounds before he plays his first game that would be fantastic and is very doable.

100% true. And maybe I’m rationalizing some here, but Hoosier isn’t geography, it’s state of mind. Vic was a Hoosier. Jakai Newton screams Hoosier. Trey Lyles and Mitch McGary and Paul Scruggs weren’t. No disrespect intended towards them, they just weren’t.

Preseason rankings really don't mean anything anyway and TBH, we've done nothing over the past few years to deserve a spot.
