I thought we’d get smacked, more a credit to them being pros than a knock on us, but this is certainly a pleasant surprise.

First game thread of the Woody Administration belongs to me! Ha! Thoughts, comments, stats, concerns, live streams (even from the dorks), and compliments directed toward me. It’s (kinda) IUBB season, go crazy.

Great outing for Tamar as well. 14 points, and 3 rebounds, only 1 TO. Pretty darn good for a rookie.

Very pleasantly surprised at how this first game has gone. From all of the accounts I've read, the team has bought in and pretty quickly adapted to what Woody wants to do on both ends of the court. TJD has not committed a foul. Geronimo our leading rebounder with 9. Of our able bodied scholarship players, Lander will finish with just 7 minutes of court time. Everyone else with at least 15 min. and that was Johnson who was limited by foul trouble.

11 pts, a steal, and +8 in 9mins for Bates? That’s a pretty good half.

Indiana University basketball team is still undefeated this season! Tied for the lead in the B1G, Indiana's Head Basketball Coach Mike Woodson can already do the following: 1. Not make a fool of himself in front of a TV camera; 2. Keep his pants in place without having to pull them up every time he turns around; 3. Knows that getting quality recruits that can hit the 3 is a key to winning in the NCAA and the B1G; 4. Doesn't chew gum as a good luck charm; 5. Appreciates this history of the Hoosier's Men's Basketball at Indiana University; 6. Has given each of us lots of hope and is putting Indiana Basketball back on the National scene just when we needed it. Learn a lot about the team today, guys. And keep us posted. And condiments to Hovadipo for lotsa stuff.

Came to share my emotions but I guess those aren't welcome... I expect to see (read tweets about) an entirely different team, aside from Trayce. Even the old guys that will get playing time should look different. Geronimo? Hardly know ye. Lander? Hardly know ye. Kopp? Durr? Johnson? Bates??? Who the heck are these guys. Really don't want to trot out another team of placeholders hoping for a miracle. About Trayce. The dude could go down as an all-timer. It's rare to get a player this good and this seasoned, and MAN do I hope Woody et al can make use of it.

Coming to hoosier hysteria. Hope we can get Others to come too

We have 10 TO's with 9 min left. Lots to clean up going forward. But if we can keep it under 15 for the 1st time out, I guess that's to be expected. The good news is that Mega has 20 TO's

We had 6 TO's in the 1st half. Not too awful bad considering first game of year. 7 steals is good to see. And had 3 more boards than Mega.

If no one there can record the game, can they at the very least frame these awful B1G refs of something so they're stuck in jail for the next 7-8 months or so?
