(2022) RB Gi'Bran Payne to INDIANA

They recruited Banks to be a wing and Clowney is a post. He wants to be more of a 4 in college but right now he’s more of a 5. So he’s a bit of a combo guy at the moment but they are different.

Someone had to say it. Truth is IU needs to drop out of the B1G and go independent. IUFB is too big for any conference.

So...we're about to get a commitment from a four star RB who has committable offers from Alabama, Florida, and Notre Dame. It's still really hard to fathom that IUFB has this thing happening...regularly.

    College Conference/Football Expansion

Ha, I guess so. I just feel like if we just try to pick up scraps of what's left, we're letting somebody else (the SEC) control the sports world. If we go big with something like merging with the Pac 12, we're stating our case as a big dog in the world of athletics as well.

    College Conference/Football Expansion

Let's do something groundbreaking. Let's merge with the Pac 12. We'd have two conferences with two divisions each. Four team tournament with division winners for Champion. Our footprint would go from east coast to west coast spanning all of America. If SEC is going huge, we need to also in our own way.

From Rivals writer, Matthew Byrne "Indiana definitely shows that hard work will put you on the field and coaches are always pushing their players," Curry said. "Indiana has always talked to me since the day they offered me." Curry has said he can see himself fitting in nicely with the Hoosiers. "Indiana is definitely upping their play style and pushing to play against the top teams in the Big Ten," he said. And what is he looking for in a school and what does he think of Indiana head coach Tom Allen? "I look for coaches that will push me and make me better throughout practice and off the field," Curry said. "He (Allen) definitely takes his coaching to another level with coaching his players with respect, and they are definitely up there."

    IUFB Offseason Updates

This obviously means nothing until we get closer to the end of August but Carr is a Doak Walker candidate at 3rd string?? Odd but ok….Ziemba is ahead of Handy AND DK??? No freaking way. Thomas Allen 3rd string??? Is he even playing this year? I’ve got questions

It's time the Big Ten make the move I never thought was beneficial to either party. Go get Notre Dame. They don't bring a new TV market but that's not nearly as important as it used to be. The brand ND would bring I think would now be beneficial to both the conference and to ND. Do it!

So lets expand on that, and kick Rutgers, Maryland, and Penn State (Let them go to the ACC along the East Cost) and just get out of the East all together, so that leaves 5 spots to fill to get to 16, all which can be done from the Big12. Let the Texas Teams (Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech) go where they go, and Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC as proposed in the beginning. That leaves Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia. Pod A: Michigan, Ohio St., Michigan St., West Virginia Pod B: Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern Pod C: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa State Pod D: Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Kansas State Winners from each division play in a 2 round playoff for the Big Ten Championship, seeding 1-4 determined by overall record and conference records.

Indiana: “I talk to Indiana almost every day, (assistant) coach Yasir Rosemond and coach Mike Woodson. They have been honest with me, telling me I would play early and what I need to work on. Coach Woodson has been in the NBA, and he wants to bring that NBA to college, I like that. I do have an official visit set with Indiana in August. With a lot of these schools that are close, I am trying to take unofficial visits to them and if I like it I will go back on an official there.” https://n.rivals.com/news/noah-clowney-talks-visits-offers-after-playing-in-state-title-game

One person's take on Clowney's play earlier today. 6’10 2022 Noah Clowney (Dorman) was arguably the most impressive player today at the @SCHSL. Super active forward with huge upside. Versatile defender. Makes plays in the post & can drive it from perimeter. Knocked down multiple 3s. Stock on the rise.
