I look forward to reading the same thing over and over again, and then again, and then over and over again a few more times, from the same people for another offseason and all of next season. Also excited about anyone who accepts the statement you make, understands there is nothing that will happen to change it, and chooses to try to focus on anything other than constant negativity as people who just don't get it. Long live the pumpers vs. the dumpers.

People can complain, whine do whatever they want but IU isn't firing Archie after this season.

Wow. You are kinda blinded by your hate for Archie. He does exactly that on a reasonably regular basis. The Archie results have been ‘meh’, but at least criticize for things that are factual.

I'm not as connected as I used to be because of coaches leaving and mainly because of COVID but he is much more liked than Crean was. Archie doesn't try to tell everyone how to do their job as Crean did. He stays mostly with the basketball program. He does come off that way from afar, but when you are talking to him it's different. He can seem like he thinks he's the smartest person in the room but being around college coaches at AAU tourneys they all think highly of themselves. Izzo is the worst. Dolson is one of the nicest guys I've ever been around. Not sure he has a bad relationship with anyone. I have been told that the alumni association, boosters, and some former players do think he is arrogant. Me personally I've really liked him ever since he first got hired, but like everyone, I wish he would win a little more. You can always message me if you have other questions.

We've watched different Leal's I guess. I thought his defense has been pretty good for a freshman, he rebounds, most of the time in the right position, just an all-around smart player. He does need to shoot some more though. Stewart isn't anywhere near ready to play. I mean we can throw him out there if we're desperate but then the fans will crap on him too.

Interesting contract notes. We're paying him the same amount that Wommack is getting paid for this new gig at South Alabama. I'm sure the opportunity to be a head coach was going to win out, but I wonder if we had any discussions with Wommack about paying him....$800K? $900K? to stick around? If we were willing to pay a new DC $700K, were we willing to offer Wommack more to have at least another year of continuity knowing how much we had returning on D? This is not a knock on the new DC. He seems like a great hire. Just interesting.

Armaan Franklin has a bad ankle and Trey Galloway has a sore back. If they both are out AND we have another injury I'd expect Parker Stewart to play sooner than expected. If not? Nope.

In my mind, if that’s the scenario, we should be battling for the Big Ten title. We don’t have to win it but it should be coming down to the last week. Wisconsin might have a team of 25/26 year olds next season. Lol. We should also be in the second weekend of the NCAA’s. NCAA run won’t dictate keeping Archie or not. The regular season should dictate that. As I type that I’m thinking what if we finish 6th and make a final four... yeah he stays.

I've seen Oats do something twice in this game, that I've never seen Archie do. Pull a player, and actually talk to him about his mistakes and try to teach.

Fresh off giving Maryland its first B1G loss, #14/11 Ohio State (9-1, 5-1) visits SSAH to face our #16/15 Hoosiers (7-3, 5-1). Radio Live Stats ABOUT THE BUCKEYES Ohio State is coming off back-to-back ranked wins over No. 11 Michigan and No. 7 Maryland on its home court. They are paced by sophomore guard Jacy Sheldon's 18.0 points per game while sophomore guard Madison Greene adds 15.0 points per game. They are one of the highest scoring offenses in the Big Ten, averaging 85.3 points per game this season. NOTES Indiana returns home for the first time in over two weeks – last playing at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Jan. 10 against Wisconsin. They are coming off a 74-61 win over Northwestern on Sunday. Sophomore forward Mackenzie Holmes led the way with 22 points and 10 rebounds which earned her a spot on the Big Ten Player of the Week honor roll. The Hoosiers come in at No. 9 in the current NET rankings as the highest rated Big Ten team. A win on Thursday would push the Indiana women's basketball program to its 800th program win. In its 47 seasons, IU has amassed a 799-647 record. Sophomore forward Mackenzie Holmes leads the way in scoring for IU this season with 17.9 points per game. She's currently on an eight-game double figure scoring streak and has three double-doubles this season. The Gorham, Maine native also adds 7.0 rebounds per game and leads the team with 2.8 blocks per game, which is second in the Big Ten. Junior guard Grace Berger also continues to excel for the Hoosiers, averaging 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game this season. She's scored in double figures in the last seven games of the season. IU continues to be one of the nation's best in protecting the basketball, as it commits just 10.2 turnovers per game. That mark ranks third in the country and second in the Big Ten. Thursday's game against Ohio State was moved up a week on the Indiana schedule with the original game date set for Thursday, Feb. 4. The move helps accommodate for other rescheduling around the league. UP NEXT Indiana remains at home to host Michigan State on Sunday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET on BTN.

Story on just how good Montverde Academy is. Two No. 1 ranked teams, Montverde Academy and Orlando Christian Prep, are closing in on historic achievements with their win streaks. Montverde (15-0), the independent powerhouse that sits again in a familiar position as the national No. 1 ranked team, has won 40 consecutive games going into its Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament, now a two-weekend showcase that opens Thursday night. If the Eagles win their Thursday game against Legacy Early College (9-7) of South Carolina, they will equal the 41-game winning streak their program compiled in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons. Montverde was 30-0 in 2006-07 to launch that run, which set an Orlando area record. Montverde meets a top 25 team, La Lumiere School (3-4) of Indiana, on Friday in day two of the MAIT and can surpass its own record. The Eagles will have homecourt rematches with fifth-ranked Oak Hill Academy (13-1) of Virginia on Saturday and second-ranked Sunrise Christian Academy (12-1) of Kansas on Friday, Feb. 5. OCP, which is ranked No. 1 in Florida for all FHSAA classifications, is right behind Montverde with 39 wins in a row and counting. The Warriors, 19-0 this season, were scheduled to play the top-ranked team in Class 3A, Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian, in a home game Saturday night as part of “The Invitational” showcase event. But that game was canceled by OCP due to school COVID-19 concerns.inter Haven 51-49 in 1957.

Williams Tabbed For Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week The Big Ten Conference announced their weekly track & field honors on Wednesday and Indiana Track & Field's own Cooper Williams was named the Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week. This is the first weekly honor of season for the Hoosiers. This past weekend Williams competed in the 800m and was the second leg of the men's 4x400m relay squad. He crossed the finish line first in the 800m with a time of 1:48.09. The time was good for the fastest time in the Big Ten and the third fastest in the NCAA so far this season. With the 4x400m relay, he aided the team to first place with a time of 3:16.63. Up next, Indiana will see a spilt a weekend as the cross country season commences at the Big Ten Cross Country Championships. The championships are set for Jan. 30 in Shelbyville, Ind. with the women's race at 12:30 p.m. and the men's at 2 p.m. Another group of student-athletes will travel to Champaign, Ill. on Jan. 29 and 30 for a multi event hosted by Illinois.

    (2022) - SG C. J. Gunn to DePaul

Strongly disagree. By the time Gunn arrives on campus, between 6’4” and 6’6” we will have a senior Armaan Franklin, and juniors Trey Galloway, Anthony Leal and Jordan Geronimo. Gunn will not need to be an instant impact player.
