Yeah, I know you were making a broader point. It just gave me a chance to spout off about Geronimo, who I love. He’s still undercooked, but there aren’t many guys switchable enough to credibly defend Garza in 1 game and Harper in the next.

No, Geronimo’s gonna play. Wouldn’t surprise me if he plays more than the other night. When Rutgers plays Harper at the 4, and they do it a lot, he becomes a really bad matchup problem for IU. Thompson isn’t gonna chase him for 25 mins. Maybe Hunter gets that matchup more, but I don’t like that any better. But Geronimo, on effort and athleticism alone, has a chance to help here for 10 or 15 mins.

They mentioned TJD "wasn't ready" for the opening tip and just stood there when the ball went up. Hope that's not a sign that we're unfocused today.

Personally, I don't think we'll see him until 2021-2. Not sure what benefit there would really be in trying to force him into games at this point if it were to be such a minor role. Let him get acclimated and used to the system.

Duke's 5 wins this year have come against teams that are 23-38. The only winning team.....is Bellarmine.

As I said in a different post, we aren't the only ones who are not playing the way the fans think we should based on our talent. The blame always falls on the coach, but in reality it a large portion of it should fall on the kids. I doubt that there are many bad coaches at the highest level of college basketball. Maybe they can't connect with the kids, maybe they can't find a way to motivate them, but I'm pretty sure they know what they are doing. It takes a certain combination of factors to be successful at this level and it is maybe luck as much as anything else that makes it work. Look at UK, UNC, Duke, and Kansas this year. Do you really think those coaches suddenly forgot how to coach a team? It's just a different time.

I think it should be a forfeit. Not that I think certain schools are doing anything wrong in terms of Covid but it certainly shouldnt hurt the opposing team in any way.

Agree. I loathe this team and Will Wade can’t lose enough for me. I read a story at some point in which some guy had Wade listed as the best under 40 coach in CBB. Talk about telling on yourself, Anyone making that argument REALLY doesn’t understand what they’re looking at.

Gunn with 13 pts. on 3-6; FG; 2-5 on 3s; 1-1 FT; 3 reb; 2 asst; 3 stls; 1 blk. Illinois commit Luke Goode started raining 3s for Homestead in the 1st Q. Jack Keefer then switched Gunn to guard Goode and Gunn really shut him down from that point. However, Lawrence North didn't have anyone to guard Fletcher Loyer and he torched LN for 27 pts.

LSU is defending UK like that they haven’t scouted them. I’m just amazed watching this.
