Women pick up a run-shortened 9-0 win over Butler. Kleiman started and allowed 1-hit through 4 innings; Montgomey pitched the 5th and gave up Butler's only other hit in the game. We had 10 hits with Copeland, Minnick & Benson each with 2. Minnick and Parker each 3-RBI and Benson had 2. Of our 10 hits, 5 were for extra bases. We had 3 doubles, a 3-run HR from Minnick and a 3-run HR from Parker. Our overall record is now 35-13. Next weekend we host Wisconsin (17-26) (6-11) and the on May 3-5 we're on the road at Northwestern (29-9) (15-2) for the conclusion of regular season play.

Just asking for some prayers. About 6 months ago went to the doctor to have a spot on my back looked at. Ended up having a biopsy taken from that spot. A couple months later, had 2 more taken from the same spot, along with a biopsy from a spot on my shoulder by a dermatologist in Bloomington. I am up to 7 different spots as of right now. Fast forward to now, I went to Indy on Monday and had a 100% confirmation for a diagnosis. Primary Cutaneous Marginal Zone B-Cell Lymphoma. Thankfully it isn't an aggressive cancer. I have a scan coming up in a couple weeks that'll show whether it's spread to my lymph nodes or not. So any prayers, positive vibes would be great. Hoping to kick this to the curb real soon. Thank you all!

It is probably more wishful thinking than reading tea leaves but based on his CV and a few highlight videos Coleman-Jones looks really intriguing to me. There are a lot of big bodies that might help IU but if there is no personal connection to them it probably gets more difficult to sell a kid on back up minutes at a school or in an area of the country he's unfamiliar with. Thanks for connecting those dots, Demo. Perhaps he and Myles Rice are acquainted. I was thinking he moved around a bit; was he in Georgia for his freshman or sophomore years?

As I said previously, he averaged 15 minutes a game last year. To me, that doesn’t scream “ I have to start.”

Jared Coleman-Jones from Middle Tennessee had a nice year. He would check a couple boxes if he could be incentivized to accept a reserve position. He has good size, decent range (44% on 3s with limited usage) and he hits his free throws. There is some versatility to his offensive game and with help from Cliff might be able to steal minutes at the 4. He played his freshman year at Northwestern with Miller Kopp and played high school ball a half hour from Atlanta, so Ya might have some familiarity with him.

Just a reminder there's still a full week left for undergrads to enter the portal and a grad transfer can enter at any time so still opportunity to land a backup 5.
