Strong and physical. Shooting it well. A look over his Twitter has me sold too. A lot to like here. Kansas recently offered.

Agree with you on the Twitter. Seems like a grounded kid. Every video reminds me of Alkins without the weight problem or ego. Looks a lot like a future pro. Would take him in a second.

Like this guy also. Will be a top level player with no pressure to produce his freshman year.

That being said I think we were fine at Guard for this class anyway we have to find an X factor player like Wilkes and a big that can at least contribute and give quality minutes if not be more.

Lot to like about Brown.  Good FG shooting %; excellent FT % and gets a lot of rebounds from his SG position.  Also, opponents couldn't shut him down as he scored in double digits in every game he played.

A lot to like here. My favorite SG option. Maybe even over Diallo.

Underrated aspect of @NikeSouthBeach G Chaundee Brown’s game is his ability to pass. Loves sharing the ball. #AAUBoysSuperShowcase

Crean is in Vegas. Brown is in Orlando.

Chaundee Brown is on that Top247 5-star bubble. He talked Kansas & Indiana in particular w me. Bolt by @kryan247

Wants immediate PT. very motivated to be a McDAA. Kansas tells him he can take over for Frank Mason. I imagine IU could say the same via Blackmon.

I mean he definitely would get PT assuming we don't get another stud G in that class.

From 247:

Shooting guard Chaundee Brown of The First Academy in Orlando, Florida, is a four-star prospect who recently received offers from college basketball powerhouses Kansas and Indiana.

Brown said Hoosiers coach Tom Crean has seen him play "four or five times," and Crean told Brown he really likes his game and his work ethic when he made the scholarship offer.

Brown said Jayhawks coach Bill Self didn't beat around the bush when making his offer.

"He said he really wants me," Brown said. "They could lose two wings to the NBA next year, and he thinks I can step in and contribute to the team."

Brown, who is participating in the Nike Basketball Academy in Los Angeles, told 247Sports Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer that he hopes to pare down his list of schools very soon.

Right now there are six Crystal Ball predictions on Brown, with four expecting him to eventually end up at Kansas and two expecting him to pick the Florida Gators.

Brown told Meyer he doesn't have any visits set at this time, but he did visit the Jayhawks last October.

"It was nice," Brown said. "I was hanging around with the players and they showed us around the school. I loved the coaches."

Despite that endorsement, Brown also said he told Crean that he wasn't close to choosing a school at this time.

Brown, who is 6 feet 5 and weighs 200 pounds, also has offers from Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Xavier, LSU, Memphis and Wake Forest.
