Underway at Bart Kaufman Field.  Illinois strikes with a run in the top of the first inning.

We tied it up in the 3rd on a solo HR by Sowers and took the lead in the 5th on a Fineman sac. fly.  Score is 2 - 1 at the end of five innings.  Baragar still on the mound; thrown 70 pitches; only given up 4 hits.

We pick up another run in the 7th and lead 3 - 1 in the top of the 8th.  Kelzer on the mound after a fine outing by Baragar.
