Good luck to the ladies on Friday and Saturday as they head to Muncie.  I'm looking forward to the Ball State match because my friend's daughter is a freshman manager for the BSU squad (I still want IU to smoke them, just will be neat to see her lol).  IU is currently 4-1

Was able to confirm today that all volleyball matches for the year will be played in U-Gym till new Stadium is complete. Last couple volleyball games may be in new stadium but if not Wrestling will open it in late November or early December.

Now as for team Aird has work to do. If you can't beat Northern Iowa you are not going to win much in an elite Big Ten. With that said I have heard great things about Aird and believe he will turn team around in time just as he did at Maryland but this year is going to be rough like the last few and we will be lucky to win more than 2-3 Big Ten games (out of 20).

As much as I like Dunbar personally it appears Aird can flat out coach and knows what he is doing far better than Dunbar. Granted 2 of the 3 teams they played are among the worst in the conference but they actually beat them which Dunbar did not always do. Also took a great Illinois team to the brink instead of getting blown out.

Clearly Aird inspires more confidence and positive attitude than Dunbar did in team which is not completely surprising to me.

99.9% off topic, but..

Have to congratulate my freshman cousin Kendal Williams (IU Kokomo) for being named Setter Of The Week for River States Conference.  She would like to transfer to Bloomington eventually, great start!

The Hoosiers are thrilled to be playing at home this weekend. While construction on the new arena is ongoing Indiana will play this week at University Gym (2721 E 10th Street). While they will be playing in the same venue as last year, the atmosphere will be much different under first year head coach Steve Aird.
