(2017) ATH Lynn Bowden to Kentucky

Recommended Posts

One real positive out of all that's happened is that these recruits can have a reasonable belief that the people they've had contact with will be there when they arrive on campus sans CKW.  A certain amount of recruit uncertainty has been removed  by naming Allen as the new HC.

Should be a good recruiting battle between us and UK. Vince Marrow is from Youngstown and is an excellent recruiter with deep Ohio connections. Deland McCullough is also from Youngstown and has been excellent recruiting for us in Ohio. DM had an inhome with Bowden earlier this month.

Oh course, all could go out the window if OSU offers.

Supposed to announce on the 25th, but he tweeted that it could be earlier with these hashtags. His only OV was to Kentucky on 12/2 and they look to be the favorite.

Hopefully we can get him for an OV. With Redding leaving, Bowden could get serious carries his true freshman year. We have three backs in the league (Coleman, Howard, Houston), with two of them sure fire Pro Bowlers. Have to think we have a chance here with DMC on the trail.

Kid is balling out as QB tonight. 7/10 80 yards, over 100 yards rushing. Keeping Kentucky in the game. Crazy to think he’s their #1 WR. I know Arkansas isn’t the best but for gosh sakes he’s playing QB a role he hasn’t played in forever and he looks so natural. Wish we could have kept him! That was a tough loss.
