WGolf: Ladies Enter 2nd Day In 16th

Ladies had a hard time on their first day in a very deep field yesterday in the Puerto Rico Classic.  They are last at 16th, but have a chance to gain some ground today.  Camille Chevalier leads the Hoosiers at T21st with +1.  Come on ladies, let's make up some ground!

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – After two rounds of the 2016 Lady Puerto Rico Classic, the Indiana women's golf team moved up two spots to 14^th heading into Tuesday's final round.
 
Indiana registered a team score of 305 to give them a total score of 612 through 36 holes. They are just six shots behind Purdue and Michigan tied for 11^th and three shots behind Maryland in 13^th place.
 
A trio of Hoosiers tied for the best round of the day at 4-over par 76, with Camille Chevalier, Pear Siriko and Erin Harperdoing the honors. Ana Sanjuan was one shot behind them with a 77 and Theresa-Ann Jedra rounded out the lineup with an 84.
 
For Chevalier, she recorded par on every hole on the back nine after shooting a 4-over par 40 on the opening nine holes. Her total score 149 is tied for 32^nd on the individual leaderboard.
