crystal balls hasn’t moved recently and no new rumors have been circulating. Thursday could be an awesome day or one of the worse

Not getting Keion is a huge miss. It just is. The 2020 class isn’t shaping up to be very good so I don’t see where IU is going to get the players to win at a blueblood level.
I did not realize he already picked kentucky?

We're gonna be fine man. I know you're pretty down on things, but I think this all works out in the end.

Timing may not be good but one guy really isn’t a huge miss. It is a numbers thing for me. Get 6-8 out of 10 and you are doing well to really well. You are going to miss some with that approach and I am ok with that when you consider the long game.

It may be easier to build a solid base of 3 and 4 year guys first to buy in and set the ground work then later in the high end guys. But overall I understand you can do really well in recruiting and still miss guys like Brooks.

It does put a little more emphasis on the next two in state 5* kids though

This is exactly why Keion would be great to have, but not going to make that much of a difference. As we saw with Romeo, he's great, but one player can't fix a team. Gotta get that base set and then we can pepper in those 5 stars to push us a little bit higher.

While I DO believe that Keion ultimately picks UK, I do NOT believe that it is a huge miss for the Hoosiers. We will be hurting for scoring, sure, but I NEVER expected Archie to have this type of success recruiting the state of Indiana THIS quickly THIS successfully. The next couple of years might not look the best, but keeping expectations realistic, the future is bright.
