Posting Reminders and Forum Etiquette

Hey Everyone,

 

We have a lot of new posters on the board, and want to remind new and veteran posters to follow the forum rules and guidelines (https://btownbanners.com/topic/2998-forum-rules-and-guidelines/). We never like getting onto people, because most of the time it's just not knowing the forum rules and guidelines.  This is a post to remind everyone of this, so that way it will help overall.  This forum is designed to be fair to all, and also be welcoming to all ages.

 

I also want to stress that in the Recruiting Threads, we will NOT allow them to be derailed.  If they are derailed, we will hand down mini vacations to those posters.  It may sound harsh, but it is very disrespectful to derail those threads because of how much time the mods and certain posters put into those threads to bring everyone the latest information. 

 

This post isn't meant to be negative, just a way to try and clear up the way we run things here.  Happy posting everyone, and here's to a great rest of the 2016 basketball season and post-season!  Go Hoosiers!
