I think Wilson 100% deserves an extension in my opinion. I know the record doesn't look great, but the program is slowly getting better. The overall caliber of players continues to improve year by year here and we're giving teams far above us in the standings a run for their money. Wilson is recruiting better than any Hoosier football coach in our history, and now the results are starting to come. 6-6 doesn't look great, but IU hasn't been able to reach that mark very often. So while it may not be great or the ceiling we want for our program, it shows we're moving forward.

Regarding an extension, how long are most thinking? Could we include more years but a buyout protection for us if he were to continue to build and have someone bigger come a calling?
