Go Astros! Anybody but the Yankees. Once the Yankees are out, anybody but the Mets! As a Braves' fan, hating the Mets is part of our culture.

 

I would normally be cheering for the Pirates (the only remaining NL team I can stand) and Royals, but a funny thing happened to me earlier this year. Jose Bautista, for reasons unknown to me, became one of my followers on Twitter. So I'm rooting for the Jays.

They have, by far, the toughest road to the series. They definitely have enough talent, just not sure they can make it through the gauntlet that is the Pirates, Cardinals, Dodgers (probably), and Blue Jays (probably).

Oh yeah I know. My optimism this year rivals my annual IU basketball optimism though. So I'm looking at the Royals last year and hoping we just mirror that then finish it off.

Pirates in a one game w Arrieta pitching. The Cards who are banged up and just lost their best starting pitcher. I actually don't mind our road.

I was just messing with you but, I'll defend his case for shits a gigs. Leads in ERA, Whip,lower walks, and even though Arrieta leads in wins, Greinke leads in win %. I don't like using wins and win % it's a more of a team stat.
