In his pro debut, Hartong hit .292 with nine doubles and a triple at Elizabethton. He went to Instructional League primarily as an outfielder. He is most likely to start the 2016 season in Cedar Rapids.

Hartong was bumped up to the High A Fort Myers Miracle yesterday and went 2-2.
