Payton had a great spring with the Illinois Wolves on the Under Armour circuit, as he averaged 14.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. The 6’6 swingman shot higher than 57 percent from the field, and he made a big impact on the defensive end as well. Payton had four straight games on the circuit with at least four blocks.
