IUFB Spring Roster/Updates

The Indiana football team opens 2015 spring practice today. Head coach Kevin Wilson announced roster updates and released the team's 98-player roster, which consists of 68 scholarship student-athletes and 30 walk-ons.

 
Mid-Year Scholarships Awarded:

Covington changed to LB. Guess that says something about Zander. Hope our QBs can stay healthy again and I hope Covington can be successful at LB!


I thought that was interesting. He didn't look very big last year. Maybe he's more of a SS playing in the box or something.

Yeah he really isn't that big I didn't think, but maybe putting in the work in the weight room will pay off. Could be an outside speed rusher in the 3-4 though and I know he was some type of DB in high school, so he will have coverage ability from the LB spot.

He's about 6'1 I think, so if he bulks up he could be a deadly special package player.
