Saw a lot I liked. Saw a lot I didn't.  I thought our ball movement was very good at times, but we we didn't move enough most of the time.  I hope we can rebound better and I think we will when troy gets back

Chill guys. We'll be fine. How can we not be better? We lost Vonleh. But let's face it. He wasn't Zeller. And Sheehey really regressed. Look at all the talent added? And Zeisloft and Hartman are at least better than Etherington and Hollowell.

Robert Johnson, 15 pts on 6/6 from the field and 2/2 on threes, 1/1 from the line (perfect), 10 rebounds, 3 assists.  (but 2 turnovers).  Love a good rebounding guard.  Just need some rebounding Bigs!

Z struggled tonight--we must have jinxed him with all the praise---but RoJo made up for it!

 

So impressed with Perea and Hartman and RoJo tonight. 

 

Yogi and JBJ solid as usual.

 

Brighter days ahead---but we do need the interior defense and rebounding presence of Troy--Stan--and Holt!

Turnovers were frustrating, but a lot of them were on the break and are the easiest type to clean up. Getting hurt on the offensive boards is a bit more concerning. Troy will help a bit on that, but beyond him there is not much help on the way.

 

Off the ball movement in our man to man offense left a lot to be desired but some obvious improvements are available starting with the back door cut. We had only one back door cut, Hoetzel in the second half.

 

We will stay in games just through shooting and the ability to get to the rim. Will need to work hard on creating momentum defensively because when we are on our heels we have a hard time getting stops.
