Ok, and Jokic is excellent. So is Garza. Imo he has more potential than Kaminsky ever had, since that is the comparison you want to use.

In Big Ten play, no one has averaged more than 21.6 since 2000. Iowa's Luka Garza averages 26.7.

 

Last player to exceed Garza's ppg in Big Ten play was Glenn Robinson in 1994. Before that, Dennis Hopson in 1987.

 

As far as true centers, none since George McGinnis (29.9) in 1971.

Jokic is good. Garza isn’t the passer that Jokic is and not even the defender. I’d say if Jahlil Okafor can’t succeed, who has way more talent, then Garza will likely be making his money overseas. He’s just not an NBA player.

I caught the tail end of the Creighton one a few weeks ago and it was awesome. I’ll definitely catch this one.

I have been to a few Syracuse games over the years. I have never heard a coach curse as much as Boeheim. He is actually pretty hilarious to listen to in person.

Notre Dame have a decent chance of making the tournament?  They're 16-10 now, not sure they have any good wins though.

Last I checked our win over them was on the verge of becoming a Quad 1 win, hopefully that's still the case.
