He is a great coach. There are plenty of basketball experts, not media talking heads, who recognize him as great. He is the next coach K or coach Pop depending on what level you want to compare him. I would be willing to put a lot of money on him being a top 3 coach at either level the next 5 years. He's pretty much there at the pro level now.

Coach Stevens at IU would probably have multiple championships in an 8-10 year span. He almost did that at Butler in two years.

Stevens didn't have the greatest talent at Butler, but he managed to get them to the championship twice. That's very impressive.

Now you take a look at this sorry looking Celtic roster. No one projected them to be this good this soon... Look where they are.

I'm a huge NBA fan and I'd say he's a top 3 coach already. His out of bounds plays are simple amazing. He probably has over 100 sets currently. He knows exactly how to use the roster he's given to each of their strengths.

I'm not sure which Pacer fans crack me up more: the ones who actually think this team is good or the ones who thought Cleveland would be an easier opponent than Toronto.

I'm in a Pacers group on facebook and it amazes me how many really thought the Cavs were a better match-up. Really? With LeBron?

The ones who really thought we had a chance to win more than a game 4 at home against the Cavs. I think they lose in 6 to the Raptors. There was a real good chance they got swept by the Cavs
