I don't think I could go somewhere that outright told me "hey we want this guy, but be cool and chill for a while because you're our backup plan." I don't see the allure to that pitch.

It might be good for us if we somehow miss on Wilkes. We might be able to land Smith and Tucker but I still feel good about Wilkes. I'd take two of the three all day.

Tucker is better for 2018 and the future. But the true key for recruiting is success year in and year out and I think for us to truly compete in 17 we need Wilkes. 

Without Wilkes I think we are gonna lack that X-factor guy

They got recent commitments from Jordan Nwora and Lance Thomas. To go with Malik Williams, that makes 3 forwards in the class. They may not be looking for any more

O'Shae Brisset just committed to Syracuse. Tucker is higher ranked, but could help us as well as U of L having 3 wings. I feel Tucker is between us & maybe Duke if they get more involved.

He was very interested in them and has made plenty comments in the past. If they want him, which I don't think their after him hard yet, he's probably not coming here. I still think we have a strong shot though. Duke is spending their time on Kevin Knox.
