Wheels have fallen off in the bottom of the 4th and O$U leads 2-0.  Goodin gave up 3 hits and a walk and was replaced by Josie Wood with 1 out and runners on 1st and 2nd.  Wood proceeds to hit a batter and loads the bases with 2 out but she gets out of the inning with no more runs scoring.

Our men sweep Iowa in baseball and our women get swept by Ohio State in softball.  Final score 2-0 and we fall to 25-9 on the season and 0-3 in B1G.  We could only muster 2 hits today against O$U pitching.  Goodin (5-2) takes the loss.

Tuesday night at 5:00, we take a road trip to Louisville and next weekend a 3-game homestand against Michigan State.

IU Softball (25-10) (0-3) with a 3-game homestand against Michigan State (11-18) (1-2).  Today's game scheduled for 1:00 moved up from its original 2:00 start due to weather concerns.  Saturday and Sunday both set for 2:00 starts.  We've lost 4 in a row and 6 of our last 8 so badly need to get back in the win column.

We just finished the top of the 3rd and the game is already getting out of hand with MSU leading 5-0 following a grand slam homer off Tara Trainer.  Trainer simply not sharp at all today.  MSU with only 2 hits but she's walked 5 and already thrown 71 pitches to 17 batters of which only 40 were strikes.   Not helping that we've also committed 2 errors.

We get another run in the 5th and give up 2 in the 7th but still get a 13-8 win.   Wood pitched the 4th and 5th innings and gave up 2 hits and 1 run.  Natalie Foor pitched the last 2 innings giving up 3 hits and 2 runs.  Wood credited with the win.  Lady Hoosiers with 13 hits on the day - 5 separate players getting 2 hits each.  3 rbi from Galovich and from Lambert; 2 from Lacefield.  We'll do it again tomorrow.
