Maybe he'll get to start the season in AAA with a chance at the club in September or in '17.

Sammy ties it up in the B5 with an RBI single in Game 2.

Travis left Sunday's game in the third inning with a leg injury.  Travis, who leads Pawtucket in RBIs (29), was chasing down a baserunner to apply the tag when he stumbled and fell to the ground.  He stayed down for a few minutes before being helped off the field by trainers.

Today, Alex Speier, sports writer for the Boston Globe tweeted:  "Red Sox expect to know more about Sam Travis' left leg injury by tomorrow, but there's considerable concern.  Source said Travis heard a pop."

Make that 4 now. Moncada and Kopech traded yesterday. Sammy up to #4 on the Red Sox list.

The Red Sox picked up Mitch Moreland for just one year.  I didn't bother to read any of the articles but hopefully its a one year contract to allow Travis to get experience at Pawtucket, make sure his knee is fine, and possibly get him up to Boston in mid-summer.

The future looks bright and not too far away for Sammy.  Some scout saying he is the next Goldschmidt may be somewhat rash at this point in time, though.
