I, too, like Ahmad Hill. I think he is a legit 6'4". That helps. I believe he could easily replace the Etherington vacancy, however, I think if we have a say, I'd still rather have Eron Harris.

I want him here, but I don't see him coming with JBJ and RJ already committed. Also with Stan and Yogi already seasoned.  Would be a great get though!

JBJ is coming. Who would you rather have, RJ or Ahmed Hill? That's pretty much the question you have to ask, imo. 

 

CCG and I used to really keep an eye out for AH on the old board. I really like him. I just can't totally justify him over RJ. If Crean reaches out to Hill, it could show who he would rather have as the RJ camp has been upfront about the backcourt getting too crowded.

 

Take that second bit as speculation...I will say this, it was pretty widely known that RJ's dad had some concerns when we started re-re-re(?)recruiting Lyle.

Really interesting thoughts. What will that say about Eron Harris? There is some wide speculation that he could get a waiver to play back close to home. IF we play 3 guards, there is plenty of time for 5 guards. That's almost 25 minutes per player. I want 5 quality guards if I can get it. Hill or Harris would be fantastic.

I'd take either but if it came down to choosing I think I would take Harris. He would bring some much needed experience. I also feel like he's got a toughness and plays with an attitude that would be contagious, especially with younger guys. Seems like more of an immediate fix bc he is already used to college basketball. It also takes care of adding Indiana guys to the roster.
