The Masters Thread

Recommended Posts

Time to brush the dust off of this thread. IMO, this is the second best 4 day stretch in the sporting world (close second to opening weekend of March Madness). I look forward to this tourney every year but even more so this year. There are so many great story lines heading into this years Masters. There are at least 10-15 guys you could make a legitimate case as the “favorite” heading into today. It’s going to be a good one folks!!

Who are you all taking? I personally think Rory or Jordan gets back on track and takes the green jacket this year.

I'm going with Marc Leishman. Mainly because it seems whenever we have one of these tourneys in which you think a big name (Tiger, Jordan, Rory, Phil, Bubba) is primed to win, somebody else breaks through -- like a Charl Schwartzel, or a Martin Kaymer or a Loius Oosthuizen. Plus, although he's Australian, Leishman lives in Virginia Beach!

Tony Finau is a beast. If I would have done that to my foot I'd be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.

A conversation I was having with a friend the other day, was the top end talent better in the Palmer-Nicklaus era or the Tiger Woods era?
